Since we are in a hurry and you've already been to both places, I'd suggest you teleport to Sweet Apple Acres, give the letter to Spike and teleport to Sugarcube Corner to attend the party. If you don't know how to do long range teleportations, you could ask your aunty or Starlight if they can teach it to you quickly. If they can't, just fly. Someday, you'll have to look deeper into what happened between Spike and Twilight, but let it be for now.
