When I see these pages in the original Japanese version, it reminds me of the arrival of the manga Dragon Ball in France in the 90s. Before having a french version of the manga, many stores offered the manga in the original japanese version. Of course we didn't understand anything about the dialogues, but we were shocked to discover new characters like Cell and Majin Boo while in France we discovered the Freeza arc via the Dragon Ball Z anime.
