I was 19 when this came out, me and my pack of nerd friends made a call-in campaign to our local theater to get this movie a midnight opening. Every day we call in the exact same line, “Hello, I was calling to see if Snakes On A Plane was having a midnight opening? Oh no? Well is there anyway to request one? Okay, thanks”. We did that for weeks. We sort of succeeded. We didn’t get a midnight, but we did get one day early, a Thursday 10:00pm. They told us it’s the best they could do, because midnights cost extra money. The early opening had maybe 10 people, and my friends and I were 4 of them.
