Episode 4 already? Crazy girl ❤️❤️❤️

Rob Schofield

Chewbacca race is called Wookie. Watto the Toydarian was the junk dealer who owned Anakin and his mother. I saw this movie in the theaters when I was very young. It was my fisrt movie experience and stil my Fav. OFC you should react to episodes 7 8 and 9. and in the final scene in episode 3 Sentaor Organa said specifically that C3PO memory was to be wiped/deleted that is why 3PO had no memory. R2 didnt need to have memory deleted cus R2 is POG and could be trusted to keep everything secret.

Cant wait to see it 😊

Awesome reaction Bissie. Practical effects on this movie are still top notch, tho you can clearly see the lack of music in some scenes, the a bit too long pauses in some scenes etc, that diff very much from the newer ones. Still like em, but they lost a bit of character for me over the time. Def watch the rest, I think you will like 6-9

Wow is it Christmas again already?? Shawshank Redemption & Star Wars: A New Hope

i would assume that ppl who said that you shouldnt bother with ep 7 8 9 are the same being crazy with the release order or something like that honestly, i personnaly enjoyed watching them and the visuals are really really good, the only issue i have with them is that they switch scenario director between movies if i remember correctly, so there are some points in the story that arent very clear or just left behind

Great reaction, Biss. And yes, Chewy is a Wookie. You will see more furry creatures in EP. 6, plus a return guest on EP. 5. EP. 5 is my favorite from the whole series. And if you think that kiss on the platform was scandalous...

The only issue with watching them in order, instead of from their original release dates, is years went by and we didn't know Vader was their father. So when you're watching Star Wars, you have no clue Leah is his daughter. So when you watch the prequels first, it ruins a lot of the luster of what made episodes 4 and 5 GREAT. So no Fish, we are not crazy, hahahaha Remember, we need to be disappointed in the order George Lucas intended! lol

They didn't really have "CGI" back in mid 70's when this was filmed. So all that crappy CGI you see in there now is how George Lucas ruined it, when they re-released Star Wars in the theaters around 1997 for the 20th anniversary. Lucas' CGI co., industrial light and magic, added all this crap that Lucas wanted to do in the original film but didn't have the time or budget to create. Like those cheesy lizards the storm troopers are riding in the desert. Or Jabba. In the original shooting, Jabba was a man, not a slug. The Jabba scene was cut from the original movie. So when they added it back in, in '97, they had to remove the man and CGI a slug next to Han. They had to make Jabba smaller so Han looking at him would make sense. Lucas should've left it alone. It was great as it was. South Park does a few great episodes making fun of Lucas and Spielberg for adding CGI to their movies decades later and "ruining" them, haha.

C-3PO had his memory wiped at the end of Episode 3 that's why he didn't remember the past but R2 did. When the 1977 Star Wars was released it was expected by the creator George Lucas it would likely be a one and done movie which is why he chose to release Episode 4 of the larger routh draft story. Originally Luke & Leia were not written as brother & sister but as love interests so it was super awkward several years later when the sequels came out and that changed. For those growing up crushing on Princess Leia and wanting to be lightsaber weilding Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker it was completely unexpected. Personally I was traumatized hahaha. The practical effects before CGI existed are quite something and were revolutionary for the time. I wanted to get into the special effects industry as a kid. Chewbacca "Chewie" is of the Wookie race (sounds like cookie) and C-3PO is referred to as threepio "3-P-oh" (not "P-3-oh") but close enough hahaha.

Jedi Mandalore (Dylan)

it's a mix bag tbh some of the changes are great while others are not and make the film feel much older as the CGI itself doesn't hold up as well as the practical effects. A New Hope seems to have the largest changes but stuff added in Empire and Jedi I actually like.

Jedi Mandalore (Dylan)

ROGUE ONE: The ship we see in the beginning is the Tantive IV the same one we saw at the end of Rogue One which was docked inside a MC75 Star Cruiser which was boarded by Vader. Vader fought his war through the hallway of the MC75 Star Cruiser but he never made it into the Tantive IV as the Rebels closed the door detached from the Star Cruiser the same door we see the Stormtroopers and Vader come through in this film. LUKE & LEIA: Both Luke and Leia are 19 in this film with Carrie Fisher being just 21 by the time A New Hope released and around 19 turning 20 while filming. Mark Hamill was only 24 at the time both extremally young actors while Han Solo was 29 played by a 35 year old Harrison Ford. The Rebel choked by Vader at the start also appeared in both Episode 3 and Rogue One with a few cameos in The Phantoms Menace and Attack of The Clones as well. Raymus Antilles was seen at the end of Revenge of the Sith on the Tantive IV the same ship you see in the opening of A New Hope. He's also in Rogue One at the very end of the film where he discovers the plans to Leia just before the start of A New Hope. Captain Raymus Antilles was the person who brought C-3PO to have his mind whipped which is why he doesn't remember anything related to The Clone Wars and the past three films. Bail was the one who ordered C-3PO's mind to be whipped only brought up at the end of Revenge of the Sith so it's easy to miss. Ever since then C-3PO has been working alongside Antilles, Leia and Bail. OBI WAN: "Ben" Obi Wan is played by the amazing Sir Alec Guinness who was 61/62 when filming A New Hope while Obi Wan was 57. Obi Wan does look pretty old compared to his later appearances more so when you compare to Ewan McGregor to Ben who is 51 and still looks really young. People have theorised that the Twin Suns aged him faster which could explain his fast aging. On the topic of Obi not knowing R2D2 if you recall back to the Prequals Obi was never too attached to Droids the same way Anakin was so it kind of makes sense that Obi Wan never really thought too much of R2D2 and just forgot about him over the years. But I still believe Obi knows R2D2 he's just hiding his emotions and is secretly happy to see him again. CLONE WARS: It's amazing that the Clone Wars was mentioned as far back as 1977 but I will say that George himself didn't have a solid idea of what the Clone Wars was really about until he started working towards the Prequals. So when it came to novels to be released set in the Star Wars universe George told writers to keep clear of mentioning too much about the Clone Wars as Lucas was working on his Prequal ideas at the time. From my understanding one of the original concepts for the Clone Wars is an evil army of Clone Jedi who would fight the Jedi Order a massive conflict between force users. So yeah it was a no go area for anyone writing Star Wars media but that didn't stop people from referring it and implying possible events that could've happened. TARKIN: Wilhuff Tarkin the person who seemed to command Vader is played by Peter Cushing. The character of Tarkin was in Rogue One but as Cushing past away in 1994 he was created using CGI and a double. Young Vader would've killed anyone who gave him orders but as this is a much more matured Vader he has learnt to understand that chain of command is important. FIGHTER SQUADRONS: Luke in this film takes up the call sign "Red 5" which if you recall back to Rogue One we saw Red 5 get shot down in The Battle of Scarif meaning there was an opening for Luke to become the new Red 5 just a fun connection. Red Squadron and Gold Squadron also appeared in Rogue One using old unused cockpit footage from A New Hope featuring the original Leaders from 1977. The Squadron Leaders you see attacking the Deathstar were the same leaders in Rogue One who pretty much went from one big battle to another. CGI: Pretty much all the CGI you see was added later around 1998 when The Phantom Menace was going to release in 1999. Other effects like blaster fire and small details have been improved which looks great but people have always been mixed on the added CGI. The film uses mostly practical effects but from my understand A New Hope has had the most changes while Empire Strikes Back still maintains alot of the original it also has some improvements as well. I know people hate the larger noticeable changes like the CGI animals but there's alot of changes that improve these films that no one notices but yeah stuff like some of the massive creatures and Han Shooting first these are very noticeable and can take you out of the film as the CGI doesn't hold up as well compared to the great practical effects. It also didn't help that these changes came around a few years before The Phantom Menace released which alot of fans did not like for how much CGI was used even though that film had the most practical effects out of any Star Wars film as well. So naturally they disliked the changes made to the original films even though some of the changes are really good.

Tbh If she was doing reactions in 2006 just after the release of the final prequal film Star Wars fans would be saying the same thing "Watch the original films but skip ep 1, 2 ,3 they're not real Star Wars". Wsnt until Prequal fans grew up and were able to have a voice for themselves that the Prequals started to get the love to see today online. Not a fan of people who say you can't watch a certain trilogy myself so I agree with you're comment.

You should consider watching Time Bandits (1981) for a chance to see the actor who was inside R2-D2. The young boy actor in Time Bandits (1981) was in awe that he got to be in a movie with R2-D2.
