Surprised with this series thought the first episode was pretty good. More excited for the Fallout show though as the world itself is more interesting but with the Last of Us if the show didn't have Joel and Ellie I wouldn't even be interested in watching the show.

So I feel so far the show has been faithful to the game. It definitely has the look and feel of this world after this horrific event or outbreak has happened. Very good so far. My one complaint is that when at the end of the episode we see that Ellie has been biten, the reveal was so fast and chaotic. It was like the writers assumed all the viewers had played the game and knew what has happened to Ellie. The scene needed to take a breath and let the viewer digest the reality of how important Ellie is. And the scene is very rushed and off they go into the dystopia. Maybe next episode they dive more into Ellie and her importance.

awesommmmme for now its pretty similar to the game's story for what i remember i dont remember the "girlfriend" tho maybe they added her for the serie i think you gonna love this show and the game later 😉
