Am I the first KEKW? I haven't watched the next 3, too. I couldn't spoiler you even if I wanted. IIRC they changed the last scene to "original" Darth Vader to the old Anakin we "knew" from the first three episodes.

I've always hated that they changed the end song. I liked that original end song.

well the next trilogy will take place thirty years after the fall of the empire and a new power has risen to attempt to destroy the new Republic.

Jedi Mandalore (Dylan)

SETTING | AGES So Jedi is set in 4 ABY, taking place a year after The Empire Strikes Back and only four years after A New Hope. Characters like Luke and Leia are around 23 years of age so their really young compared to everyone else while Han would've been 36 so take that age difference as you will in relation with leia. REVENGE OF THE JEDI (Original Title) Return of the Jedi was originally called "Revenge of the Jedi" but was later renamed because Lucas thought that Revenge wasn't a Jedi term which has been brought up throughout the series. This change was made pretty late so you can find a bunch of posters and trailers with the title Revenge of the Jedi. The film did release as Return of the Jedi so it wasn't a change made after the release. JABBA THE HUTT (Original Introduction) So for classic fans this film would've been their introduction to Jabba the Hutt instead of A New Hope. He was mentioned in both Hope and Empire but because his scene was cut from A New Hope we never saw him until Jedi. R.I.P BOBA FETT Boba Fett of course dies in this film eaten by the Sarlacc Pit. There's always been a big debate on if he survived or not so who knows. Just a very fast and unexpected death for someone who is a massive character more so for you as you've seen him in the Prequals as a kid. DEATH STAR II (Somehow The Deathstar Has Returned) I was never a big fan of the 2nd Death Star would've made far more sense for the Empire to focus on other aspects from Fleets to new better ships but hey that's one of the reasons why they lost in the first place. But I'm a little biased was never a big fan of Superweapons in any Sci fi series. I'll not go more into this for spoiler reasons relating to Rebels and some canon novels but pretty much there were other projects that would've benefited the Empire much more in the long run but the Empire was too focused on big space stations. SHIPS: A-WING So this film introduced a good amount of ships to the Star Wars universes. Those smaller Rebel ships with the large open glass cockpits are A-Wings interceptors. They were created by Kuat Systems Engineering who also created the Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor also known as the Jedi Starfighter which you saw in EP3 and the later seasons of Clone Wars. They also made the Delta-7 Jedi starfighter which we saw in Attack of the Clones and the early Seasons of Clone Wars flown by Jedi. B-WING So the B-Wing is a really cool ship that acts as a heavily armed starfighter with alot of firepower designed to break it's way through a blockade of ships outfitted to pretty much take on a large ship by themselves usually backed by fighters to defend them. The coolest feature of the B-Wing is the gyroscopic control system that kept the main pod (cockpit) stationary as the rest of the starfighter rotated around it. TIE/IN interceptor So the TIE/IN interceptor first appeared in this film identifiable by the addition of four arrow-shaped panels instead of the Two Long Panels on a normal TIE. This is pretty much the A-Wing of the Empire with upgraded engine it was far faster and more powerful weapons for taking out Shields. Should note that the Interceptor along with the normal TIE Fighter do not have Shields or a Hyperdrive unlike most of the Rebel and Republic ships such as the X-Wing, A-Wing etc. Home One (Mon Calamari cruiser) Home One is Admiral Ackbar's flagship. The Mon Calamari ships are actually cities that sit vertical underwater acting as large skyscrapers. Every building we saw in the Mon Calamari story arc was actually a ship so if their planet gets attacks they can simply launch from underwater and more there cities. So the only real new vehicle in this film is the AT-ST (All Terrain Scout Transport) also known as the Chicken Walker. it did show up twice in the background at the Battle of Hoth as like a prototype model but this is the first time we see them in action created for more screen time looking alot more detailed. ADDED SCENES So this film had a good amount of added stuff. The biggest one for alot of people is the new song that plays at Jabbas along with the CGI song scene that replaced the Practical one which I prefer. Not a big fan of the CGI scene at all. But the changes I do like is the celebration at the end which showcases planets across the galaxy celebrating the death of the Emperor. These were added I'm pretty sure before The Phantom Menace came out so we actually saw planets like Coruscant and Theed City on Naboo a few years before The Prequals which introduced us visually to these planets. You can even see the Jedi Temple in the background which is really cool. Pretty sure the Phantom Menace Trailer was out when this was added so maybe people picked up on this when watching the special edition at the time. And finally the big change being them adding in Hayden Christensen as force ghost Anakin. Originally Sebastian Shaw played force ghost Anakin but this was replaced sometime after Revenge of the Sith. I guess you could call this a plot hole as Anakin was redeemed in this film as an older man so it would've made more sense for Sebastian Shaw the older Anakin to show up instead of his younger self. But regardless I don't mind, cool to see Anakin alongside Luke connecting the prequals more to the original trilogy. NEXT IN TIMELINE: So next in the timeline is Mandalorian set 5 years after Return of the Jedi with Season 1 released in 2019 alongside the last Sequal film. Season 2 released in 2020 to 2021 If I reemember correctly and Season 3 will be releasing in March 1st this year. Mandalorian is a Whole new era for us fans and you so that's going to be fun. You also have the Sequel with the first film releasing in 2015 followed by one in 2017 and finally one in 2019 this being the last Star Wars movie to be released. You also have Solo which released in like 2018 which goers backwards in time before A New Hope and Rogue One. Along with Andor from 2022 that acts as a prequal to Rogue One. So it's really up to you if you want to go back and watch the stuff you skipped or move forward with Mandalorian or the Sequels. I would love to see Mandalorian reactions you're first Star Wars TV show.

I really do not want to tell you about the next trilogy of Star Wars. I would rather you watch them and judge them for what they are, on your own, without my or anyone else's, bias. They take place 30 years after "Return of the Jedi" and if you decide to watch them, I would do so, at any time, before watching "The Mandalorian". I think you should watch "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" animated series seasons 1 - 6, next. Then, "Star Wars: Rebels" animated series seasons 1 - 3, then back to "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" animated series for season 7. If you want to watch "Solo: A Star Wars Story", now is the time to do it. Next, back to "Star Wars: Rebels" animated series for its final season. Then, on to "Star Wars: The Bad Batch" season 1, then "The Mandalorian" (Season 1 and 2), then, "The Book of Boba Fett", then any other Star Wars media that is out there, or comes out next from what are still ongoing series.

Wow thats a lot , I am not very knowledgeable about all the STARWARS media sources out there, I did enjoy Ep 7,8,9 and hope you do them. The mandalorian features Grogu aka Baby yoda I liked that as well.

some people hate on the new movies (episode 7, 8 and 9) and while they were not perfect. (just like the original trilogy and the prequels were not perfect) people bash more on them for the fact that the story did not fit their fan theories about what happened after episode 6 (ironically there are several novels and comic books that describes what happened with Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie and many other characters that wasnt shown in these movies. Give them a go and judge for yourself Bisscute <3 you said yourself that you are a very open minded person so i dont think you will hate them or dislike them at all. I look forward to see your reaction. :)
