So Biss in case you didn't notice, the Green Mile and Shawshank Redemption were both written and directed by Frank Darabont. And both movies were adapted from Stephen King novels and novellas. There is one more movie that was also written directed by Darabont and based on a King novella which is called THE MIST (2007). I am going to recommend this movie as well.

And I really do appreciate the opportunity to share the experience of watching these movies and getting to know your thoughts and opinions on them as well.

This movie is one of the main reasons why Tom Hanks is my favorite actor of all time. I always have tears watching this especially the end. RIP to the amazing Michael Clarke Duncan who played John Coffey. Really enjoyed watching this again with u and hearing your thoughts about it.

Tom Hanks is one of my all time favorites, too. But, honestly, I don't think this role really showcases his talent. He's at his best in Castaway, Big (a movie that has aged very weirdly but his performance is great), Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Philadelphia and A League of Their Own

Seannie Herskowitz

Let me elaborate ; he’s a wonderful , talented human being just not a fan of most of his roles

Hi Biss I think I will watch this full reaction with you now that I am here. You probably already know the Actor you thought you knew was Gary Sinise who played Captain Dan in Forest Gump. John Coffey also has a part in Armageddon a great movie. One of the actors on the mile is also in Saving Private Ryan if you watch it you will need more tissues than you did for Interstellar.
