To be clear, I feel I can write a decent story with or without Sabah. However, I'm somewhat conflicted in what I want for her going forward.

This question isn't "Does it make canonical sense for her to trigger?" The answer isn't important. Don't worry about logical progression, just think about what you think might make for a more entertaining story.

You’re falling into the moral trap all insert stories get, where the Mc knows the future but is morally conflicted on wether or not to let cannon happen, stop that. While it is good character development to have a mc question their decisions nothing is more annoying than having a character constantly angst on wether or not to prevent a tragedy that benefits the world. I see it in every Naruto fix with the Uchiha massacre, just stay true to your charecter, Bryce just wants to have fun with his powers and keep the people he loves safe. He already plans to alter cannon by intervening during leviathan, so saving another person he likes should be fine. Just stop angering over it having chapter devoted to Bryce angering wether or not he should do something only for no decision to be reached are really uninteresting, PWP is already slow going and having him be indecisive will just be annoying, you said it yourself he can heal her dad, so even if Ames doesn’t he should just bite the bullet and do it.

Don’t make Bryce a moody dude who does what’s best for the world, that’s cauldron and the legendary tinker, Bryce is selfish and does what he wants. Honestly why having Ames knowing his is so annoying, because you’ve written yourself into a corner now where Bryce has no possibility of ever doing bad things and being a truly selfish character because Ames has a metaphorical gun to his head.

100% agree, foreknowledge is often a trap when share and lead to angst/drama wich in turn can ruin ff when not regulated

I feel that if she is to trigger it has to be something different, if not its best just to leave her alive and happy with her father. You touched on her relationship with Flechette/Foil, its not like he couldn't introduce them after Leviathan, I believe canon Flechette fell head over heels for Parian on first sight. I think it might be interesting to see how he tried to convince Flechette to randomly introduce them to one another (Maybe the plan fails, or maybe Cupid is in the air)

Jack

I’d like to see something similar to the string string fruit from one piece as her alt trigger.

Zerak

Based on how she triggers her power will differ. So it depends on the scenario of her trigger

Wrathkal

Yeah, given the changes Bryce has wrought so far, I think if she were to trigger, it's with a variant power. That would be a nice way to see more of your original stuff.

dran mada

Yeah variant powers, I could see one shifting it into a sort of cloth/leather centeric tinker/master keeping the tk elements but as a control vector for the tech I feel the master side is still rather present from the classmate and the fear of loosing her father

Please don’t leave this up to a vote, have it happen on what first the story. And if she triggers it shouldn’t be a Master as in this universe she isn’t isolated. There use to be a page on the wiki that shows what kind of events lead to each trigger but now you need to go into each classification to find it for each one. There is a non zero chance she might end up as a Biotinker of some sort as all we know about her shard is it gave her a power related to flesh and fabric.

If its a variant power she could trigger very differently, and be happy by herself, also doesn't have to interact with Bryce and does her own thing. The power could be using wires like Copper, and others types, and the wires could be even steel. The wire then can be used as a thread, and sewing clothing, even armour similar to coat of mail. Also, I could see her fighting with the wire, like Walter from Hellsing. Another power with wires could maybe connect with electrical devices. Instead of making clothing. otherwise keep the good work

Life fibres fits, Shards inherit information from shards around them and then adapt to information given, particularly Shard-Strands (IDK what they're called) like what's happened in the New Wave group. A better example to draw initial power use from is how the Slaughterhouse does it, by exposing a new trigger to multiple shards Jack then creates a parahuman with a small amount of power from those surrounding. If we look at Sabah and those surrounding her, we get Laserdream or whatever her name is as well as a small amount of contact with glory girl and Panacea. It would make sense for her pre-assigned Shard to take cues from those surrounding her. A sort of semi-sentient Fibre manipulation and creation fits with those surround her. Definitely not actual Life-Fibres because it doesn't make sense to be able to create a fully sentient GETH like Neural Network with no knowledge of how that works even with explanations. I feel like a semi-organic Fibre that's made using plant and animal molecules is much more fitting, with a Manton Limit on Semi-Sentient and Sentient beings. Disallowing control over Alive Cells due to the complex web of active amino acids as well as the increased complexity of the cellular structures inherint in most ALIVE Animals. Dead ones are being affected by Organic-Entropy and are thus "Unspooling" I feel like this is the most reasonable variant of her Canon powers. Though if you think this is too much say so. No need for it to get super complicated.
