Certainly not one of the stronger episodes. But it is another Disney Afternoons lore drop. Don Carnage was one of the villains of Tale Spin, another Disney cartoon. In it, characters from The Jungle Book are operating an air based package delivery operation... for some reason. Balloo, King Louie, and Sheer Khan were part of the main cast.

I for one found this episode to be one of the funniest in the season, though yes, it's kinda filler...but also not really. Funny you compared Don Karnage to Captain Gutt from Ice Age 4, Mosco compared him to Sea Hawk from She-Ra in her reaction...and come to think of it, he's kind of a perfect blend of both characters.

Yeah I usually skip this episode on watch throughs

Yeah. This one is definitely a filler episode. Not one of my favorites. It does connect to the old tv show Tailspin later down the road. But again, not a favorite of mine. I was always more of a Darkwing Duck fan personally. That being said, I do appreciate how this series manages to put in a little bit of everything to appeal to all types of viewers. I can't wait to see your reactions to future episodes. Keep doing what you do. Your awesome!

I remember when this episode first aired, Dewey fans really loved it. It's always been one of my least favorites, but I think it's gotten a bit more charming upon multiple re-watches. Next episode is my second favorite in the season, though! Like, you're coming up on a really, really good one. 🥳
