The tissue boxes on his feet are likely a nod to Howard Hughes. Billionaire, aviator, extreme germophobe. He was not mentally well in his later years and felt the tissue boxes would keep germs away. Honestly, probably Glomgold's greatest scheme. I mean, he could have done much more effective things with that device, but this was actually pretty clever. How much hate do you gotta have to have the ability to stop time and do literally anything you want, and you use that ability to harass your nemesis in incredibly petty ways.

There's something so genius about the comedic writing in this episode. 😭 The rewatch value of it is off the charts. It's still fun to watch even after having seen it multiple times, because it's just that good. (Thanks for giving me weekly things to watch when I'm working on my Spindlehorse merch assignments, Morgan! Your reactions are always so fun).
