I completely forgot about Pride Month coming up; thank you for reminding me. Darkwing and Gizmo aren't among my favourite characters, but I enjoy their introductions and episodes that let them shine nonetheless. I love a good Launchpad moment, too (that isn't just a crash landing). He's like the golden retriever of ducks.

Kelvin James Landon

If you don't like egomaniacs, then you probably won't enjoy the original Darkwing Duck series. The main reason he fights crime is to gain attention and feed his ego.

Happy pride month to Launchpad and DW specifically

31:50, "Is he like the f*cking Joker now or what?" Basically yeah Well, this was fun. Looking forward to the next reaction, Morgan. See ya then. Bye😊👋🏼

You meeting David Tennant, my wife meeting Alex Kingston at - of all places - shopping at an Ikea. A woman who always has something to say, could not get a coherent word out. All she could do was point and say "Hello Sweety." "Is he like the Joker now?" Kinda. He's basically "Negaduck" now, which was the evil Darkwing from an alternate universe (the "Negaverse" - where everyone good is evil, and vice-versa) in the OG show. Honestly, this is a much better origin story for the character...both the characters, really.

I suspect they were trying for a spin-off that Disney just never greenlit...

Glossing over the reboot jokes and poking fun at the series itself. Although, tbf, the 2017 Ducktales is superior to the original '87 version. "Drake Mallard? Never heard of ya." Darkwing Duck's civilian name in the original series. Negaduck was one of Darkwing's nemeses in the old series. Basically Darkwing's evil doppelganger.

Bro, everytime I rewatch this episode, the Scrooge bit where he's obsessed with the concept of a villainous figure needing a mustache has me in tears. 😭 Genuinely one of the funniest jokes in the series to me. It somehow gets funnier upon rewatch.

Reverie Mephisto

I met Patrick Pedreza at MomoCon yesterday writing this and he was so sweet! My hands were shaking, so he took the selfies of us on my phone for me. He was so chill and kind. I know it must have been a hassle having to get up out of his chair so many times for fans but he really didn’t seem to mind. ☺️

I finally got the chance to watch this one. I really enjoyed this episode because of the intro to darkwing duck (i watched a bit as a kid) and I really enjoy drake mallard. He's a cool guy and as much as I love gizmoduck I really enjoy the random competition they seem to have for no reason. 😂 also, evil darkwing is so cool. I wish they had had the opportunity to explore more with that storyline specifically.

10:40 Speaking about Bruce Wayne, the narrator of this trailer is dubbed in the french version by Adrien Antoine (who dubbed Batman in many times including the Arkham Games). 31:58 Actually, there is a Darkwing Duck villains who is a direct spoof of the Joker but not that one (except for the fact he is the exact opposit of the good Darkwing Duck) : Quackerjack (who apears in a previous episode).
