Karen Gillan might be the best actor they ever had for a Companion. Also, there is a mini-episode (3 minutes long) called Meanwhile In The TARDIS Part 1 inbetween episodes 1 and 2. It's mainly just funny bits but laso has some nice characterisation. It's easily found on youtube.

yea i really love matt smith as the doctor, i just think they kept him on a little too long which is one of the reasons people don't like him. but i think that's more of a showrunner/writer issue tbh.

Around 1:15:50, I love that you now start to connect dots from previouse characters (in this case with the whole ,,Perseption Filter - Master connection) even if it is not that, it is so good to see that you kinda got the hang on this timey-wimey stuff with the show. (And the fact that you instantly just love 11 as a Doctor - fun fact Matt Smith is the youngest actor to play the role to date, for a long time it was held by Peter Davison as the 5th Doctor)

Matt Smith is my Doctor. I love most of the others and David Tennant is the GOAT but Matt was my introduction to Doctor Who and I have a strong emotional connection to him. It took me one episode to really like him and two to fall in love with him. Hearing his musical theme again makes me soooo happy. Those three lines... Steven Moffat at his BEST... Without question. (His era as showrunner started - and went on - strong) While RTD did amazing as showrunner (9 and 10's runs are great), these next ones are blowing it out of the park.

"Just when I thought I was safe" Oh Morgan. I'm reminded of a Star Trek quote.. "It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross. But it's not for the timid." Doctor Who isn't safe, but it's amazing and terrifying and heartwarming in turn. But it's not safe. They make simple things terrifying because that's how you save a lot on the budget, and do great shows without as much CGI. :D Gas Mask. Statues. Cars. They had a LOT of the Master, probably a good idea to let him cool off in the archives for a bit. He's a lot to handle.

WTF WAS THAT?!" I don't know but my geez, we both got a heartattack from that🤣🤣🤣🤣 1:16:15(Last edit). Overall, this was a fun start to Matt Smith's portrayal of The Doctor.
