1) love the reaction to the van gogh ep, it's one of my favorites! 2) i just noticed in "the lodger," the jersey the doctor wears says "11" for the 11th doctor

Im fine with you taking a break I want you to react to more David Tennant stuff anyway

Luke Teasdale

"he threw that back like it was his job" well he is european

SPIKELB!

The doctor in the paining isn’t actually The Doctor, it’s a human doctor. It’s the last one Van Gogh’s brother sent when he started to go crazy

Watching Vincent and the Doctor messes everyone up no matter how many times they've seen it.

Gaudi Daamen

I will always cry during the Vincent and the Doctor episode. He's my favourite Dutch painter.

I really love both of these episodes!! The lodger especially is really underrated, it's super nostalgic for me since I watched it so much when I was younger :)

Matthew

These two are some of my favorites this season as well! I've always found these episodes to have a cozy vibe.

So fun fact about Dr. Black (played by Bill Nigh... Yes, THAT Bill Nigh) 's speech to Vincent about himself: The shot was filmed so they (Bill and Vimcent's actor) were on a turn-table so that they could ecapsulate the emotions of that scene. (Let's just say Murray Gold - as always - did an absolute job with the music)

Vincent and the Doctor is one of the best but also most devastating episodes of Doctor Who I swear 😭 It makes me cry every time!

17:39 this is a real thing people find with paintings… people X-ray them and find second or even third paintings on one canvas

Matt Smith was an aspiring professional footballer until a back injury, so the moves you see him do in this episode are all real. "No tattoos"? - he said "No time to lose". It looked like something was up with the framerate of The Lodger episode, like it was stuck on 1.25 speed, but sound was normal so ???

41:00 it’s thought that his depression medication made light appear different (I forget the name of it) which is why he painted the light moving the beautiful ways it he did

T0m4002

1:14:55 to be fair he was playing at a dad in distress… depending where her headspace was that might have worked

47:02, "I'm gonna f*cking cry right now" I'm way ahead of you on that😭🥹. This scene was done beautifully, I can't handle it😭💖😭💖😭 47:44. The tears just won't stop coming😭😭😭. Vincent Van Gogh was an amazing artist, and deserves so much praise and love👏🏼❤️👏🏼❤️👏🏼❤️👏🏼❤️👏🏼❤️👏🏼
