I gotta admit this was one of my favorite episodes It was nice seeing a little bit of Scrooge’s family, especially his sister Matilda. Plus R.I.P whiskers the poor little thing.

Great Reaction Morgan Have a Great Day 💜💜😊

Just a gentle refresher, we saw a few times on Webby's cork board that Scrooge has TWO sisters. The other, Hortense, was mentioned in the previous episode as Donald and Della's mother. They couldn't be Scrooge's niece and nephew if he was an only child.

According to Mosco, this is actually a pretty accurate representation of Scottish families. 🤣 Also, emu farms are a real thing in Australia. Apparently, their eggs taste REALLY good.

Scrooge couldn't exactly be both an only child AND an uncle. He has two sisters: Matilda (the one in this episode) and Hortense, Donald and Della's mother. Hortense never appears in person and is only mentioned a handful of times, and the only one of those mentions that's in the present tense was in the previous episode where she left Donald and Della with Scrooge sometime c. 1990s around 20-30 years prior to the show's main time period, so she and her husband Quackmore are generally assumed to be dead by the time of the show. Emu farming is an actual industry, though not a very big one. The show itself never goes into this, but I would imagine Bradford's partner requirement is to mitigate the risk of rogue agents defecting or rebelling by ensuring they always have someone watching them. You know, the bagpipes COULD actually bring Whiskers to life. I'd never thought of it before, but now I'm kind of disappointed it didn't actually happen in the episode. Both of them 150 years old and less mature than the 12-year-olds in the room with them. Even Dewey. The McDucks having a jar of imprisoned will-o'-the-wisps is entirely unsurprising. Dewey being a theater kid is even less surprising. Webby is an absolute top-tier character.

Did you know that there was a Great Emu War in Australia 1932 it was based on the Great Depression issue.
