I cannot believe how good this season has been. I already love it more than season 1, and that says a lot because I adored that season. Huge props to Viv and the team at Spindlehorse. This is so far my favorite content in the Hellaverse.

Man I was so excited for your reaction! I feel so vindicated to see someone just as upset as me when it comes to the way Charlie walked all over Angel's boundaries. It makes a lot of sense for her character because she is naive and desperate but it hurts so bad to see. I am glad that the show allowed Angel to be pissed about it. I also found him and Husk's interactions so sweet. Amazing reaction as usual!

I feel like everyone was justifiably angry this episode(especially Angel), but i honestly can't really be upset at any of them. Charlie overstepped, but this day has been *extremely* overwhelming and hectic for her. Remember, literally just before the start of the episode, all of episode 1 happened as well. She was trying to cling to the good news she heard, but went too far. Husk *did* encourage Angel to go along with Charlie's plan at first, but him getting upset at Angel for jumping in front of that train makes sense. Husk didn't want Angel to sacrifice his afterlife. If Vaggie hadn't shown up, Husk would end up with survivor's guilt. I don't have to explain how Angel's anger was justified. We all know it was. But i do hope that him and Charlie repair their friendship after what just happened because i loved their sibling-like dynamic

I love charlie but her biggest flaw is that she gets tunnel vision once she think she right about something. And now twice she step over angels boundaries and ignored vaggie concerns. Hopefully she learns because you can only say sorry so many times.

I will say, as frustrating as Charlie can be, between her and Blitz, I really appreciate how Viv isn’t afraid to accentuate the flaws of her protagonists.

Don't get me wrong, Charlie pissed me off in this episode as much as everyone else. But something everyone needs to remember about Charlie's character is that she's incredibly naive and with naivety comes stubbornness. And when you combine naivety and stubbornness with desperation, it's always going to be a recipe for disaster. She found out that redemption was officially possible and she became blinded with desperation to figure out how it works and that led her to make horrible decisions and not listen to those close to her. This does not justify her actions, but that is why. Also CherriSnake is my new favorite ship

So glad to hear the shout out for Omn1, found them independently and am glad they're as chill as I thought. Also not sure what to make of the spanking comment. Either that's the line of a man who has never been into another man before, or a man who has never had a child before. I genuinely can't tell which. One would be kind of cute, the other would serve the storyline of redemption for Angel Dust in the future though....

While Charlie was annoying in this week's episodes we have to remember their is two reasons for her stupidity. 1 Plot. and 2 Bad Writing (Now to be clear I'm not one of these people who hate everything Vivienne.) But Her or whoever wrote these episodes needs to get at least some of the blame for writing of Charlie in these episodes. You can absolutely make a compelling plot without hurting the likability of your protagonist I hope they coarse correct next week or the Chaggie song will mean much less . I'm sure a fair few people also saw Elijah reactions and that will be a lot more common if they don't fix up the writing of Charlie.

I really don’t think the writing has anything to do with how Charlie was acting. It’s part of her development. She’s naive, overjoyed and probably feeling a real sense of pride for the first time now that she knows the hotel isn’t a bust. When you’re overexcited, you don’t always make the best decision. We were told before the season started that we wouldn’t like some of Charlie’s actions so this doesn’t feel as out of place as some of the fandom keeps calling it. Also, pride is probably a really strong feeling for her since she’s the daughter of the literal sin of Pride

I'm, personally, very happy with how they've written Charlie. She's trying to do the right thing, but she's super flawed. To me, this seems like the natural progression of her character from season 1. If she suddenly understood her own issues and started listening to everyone around her, it would have felt cheap and unearned. The show is taking it's time and actually addressing the more problematic (and, frankly, dangerous) elements of her character. I'm looking forward to seeing her genuinely learn and grow. The show is playing around with the dark side of the Disney Princess trope in a way that I personally find very rewarding.
