You’re not the only one who likes Nott. She is beyond a sweetheart, and once you learned her backstory, you were gonna cry your eyes out. Little bit of a warning for next episode you do learn why she needs the alcohol. Molly is also my favorite. With the showmanship and everything. Plus his power is so awesome.

It's not specifically stated, but it's obvious that Nott & Caleb have been together for quite some time by this point, given they can basically casually discuss con man scams by name.

Molly is „helped" the most with the story being complete... Of course all the characters benefit from the fact that the story is done because they can slip in future events/ plot-points. (Not directly of course just hinting at them, but we Critters KNOW why they do stuff the way they do)😉

Just FYI, the Vox Machina party member you couldn't remember is Keyleth, the elf druid. It's especially funny to me since her VA plays your favorite character, Beau, in this campaign.

That was Dead-Eye using a spell to talk to Beau in her head, NOT the Traveler. He made her unwrap her forearm to prove she wasn't a Volstrucker. Also, I'm pretty sure Moondrop is the name of Gustav's former partner who died sometime before this.

From what I've heard was Moondrop the last name of a character who had a role in this part of the campaign, but was left out of the animated show. Though it is odd that their name is there if they weren't planning on including that character.

Mollymauk saying "Dandy as a De Rolo" was a reference to him having the same voice actor as Percy. Also, something that I've noticed very few people pick up on is when Fjord was asking Jester about the Traveler, he was really trying to get answers from where he got his own powers and who gave them to him.

Jester and Fjord's VAs are married IRL, and Travis specifically said he doesn't like to do romance in role-playing games. So Laura brought Jester to the campaign with the goal of making him fall in love with her all over again. It just makes the ship even cuter. 🥰 Also, their human forms in the mirror room were their VAs.

And yes, I know this conflicts with the timeline as we're being shown it, where it's all supposedly within the two days of the "you have two days before the war starts." But, yeah, those two didn't get *that close* to one-another on one walk to the next village.

Considering that Morgan's video files for the episodes don't contain any of the English subtitles for Zemnian, I'm kinda curious to see Morgan's reaction when they watch episode 5 lmao

I do think the devils toad mistake was bound to happen. The circus was desperate and war is breaking out. Toya is used to performing for royals, not the general public. The number of variables to account for in a public circus is insane compared to a private performance in front of kings and queens. Caleb, Nott and Beau sure take the brunt of the blame but a mistake was bound to happen somewhere. Especially as those bugs are expensive and powerful. And the war will only make things harder. Whether it makes it harder to travel, make the circus a soft target, or make the supply of firepower Toya travels with either hard to get or a target. Traveling with a creature that dangerous without a full security detail is questionable. Just an earthquake or bad weather can damage the cart with the firefly and cause his escape

The funny thing about Molly is that Taliesin (the VA) created him for Vox Machina, because he thought Percy would die. So he made Molly a while before playing the Mighty Nein campaign. And he wanted to make fun of Percy, just as an inside joke.
