"E Pluribus Unum" means "Out of Many, One". Popular old national motto that appears on all our coins. So I guess "E Pluribus, Trembley" would mean "Out of Many, Trembley". Just a play on words. As to the glass thing, old trope in TV and film. Typically a chase being interrupted by movers carrying glass across the street the chase is being held on. Maybe curbside delivery wasn't a thing back then.
