Jurassic park is my all time favorite movie. I'm sure Denise will love the other Jurassic Park movies, including the new Jurassic World movie trilogy.

Don't see the sequels, they're absolutely terrible. Lost World at least somewhat like 3% overlaps with the actual sequel to the book but everything after that is an unintentionally ironic meta of what this book was about to begin with which was the soulless, unthinking commercialization of literally everything in the galaxy, especially nature, and the complete, conscious disregard for ethical behavior and morality in the face of "progress." Many of Crichtons novels featured these core themes like Prey and Next, Lost World and Jurassic Park and one of them (Next) even features BioSyn and Lewis Dodgson, although very briefly. Even Jurassic Park 3 makes an attempt to include some leftover source material from the first book, and one 8 second part of Jurassic World 1 does as well, but I wouldn't go past 3 for sure. That's just my take as a fan who grew up with this book when it was new. I warned y'all in the comments, I have a lot to say about JP. If you do want more JP, I'd actually recommend Camp Cretaceous, the CG Netflix show that tied the Jurassic World movies together and is actually far more respectful to the source material than the movies.

Keep in mind this story takes place in 1989. The movie came out in 93 and so it slightly downplays the technical advancements of the park, but the actual story was 1989. $150,000 donated to their research was way more money back then. Like $380,000 in today money. A lot of the movie was filmed on location in Hawaii, or, at least the establishing shots when they first get to the island. Haha sorry, like I said on YT, this is my actual favorite movie.
