Vincent D'Onofrio was amazing in this. You pointed out about the walk. He actually used braces on his legs so he couldn't bend his knees.

Oh these movies are fun.

This movie is in my personal Top 100 greatest all-time films. I especially appreciate your shout-out to Vincent D'Onofrio. Vincent D'Onofrio is a highly underrated actor and deserves more praise than he gets. Another great film he shined in was 2000's "The Cell" also starring Jennifer Lopez and Vince Vaughn. The Cell is a very visually stylized film by Indian director Tarsem Singh you both should check out some time in the future.

YEAH! This movie is so much fun! A classic from my youth. And honestly, very well made. Sure, some of the effects aren't perfect anymore, but I got to say, most of it looks really good (especially the practical of course). The world is very thought out and doesn't leave a lot of gaps. The script is tight (runtime is less then 2 hours and leaves nothing wanting) and the acting is good. Vincent D'Onofrio is fantastic and Will Smith is doing his best Will Smith. In particular Tommy Lee Jones is just made for that role, he nails it. The banter is fantastic. Some cool camerawork as well. It's easy to see how this film ended up being huge in the late 90's. I'm assuming you are going to look at the rest of the franchise, looking forward to it! Some other cool flicks it would be fun to watch with you guys: The Shadow (1994) Tron (1982) 12 Monkeys (1995) Watchmen (2009) The Butterfly Effect (2004)

the Final Jeopardy joke, I think was a nod to an episode of X-Files, dealing with encounters by The Men In Black, in the show the Men In Black were played by Jesse Ventura and Alex Trebek.

Absolutely love this movie. Another Tommy Lee Jones movie that I love is Volcano. You guys should check it out. Definitely one that you kinda have to turn the logic side of your brain off for and just enjoy the ride but still a great time.

I second this! I saw "Volcano" and "Dante's Peak" back-to-back the first time I saw them. Personally, even if it's less realistic, I had way more fun with "Volcano." For me, at least, fun trumps realism.

Thank you for watching and for your suggestions! Adding the ones we didn’t have on our list! These 90s flicks hold up strong 😄

He’s a phenomenal actor and super sweet down to earth guy. Had the pleasure to talk with him about his creative process back in the day. Adding “The Cell” to our list 😄
