This one had by far the most production issues of the three films. The original plot for this movie was about an alien invasion on New York, the only problem was that they finished shooting about 10 days after 9/11 happened. Marketing a movie the following summer about an invasion on New York wasn't going to work so the major plot of the movie was rewritten after most of the movie had been shot including the final battle scenes as the original heavily involved the twin towers. I still enjoy it, the humor still hits, the cast is great, but the third movie is definitely better and wraps the series up extremely well.
