What an excellent choice. I really enjoyed the direction this script took. Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace were great cast choices. So far my favorite xenomorph movie is Aliens. Another great movie choice would be Predators (2010) with Adrian Brody, Alice Braga and Topher Grace.

Oh, because you guys really like films shot through the perspective of a hand hold camera, and with monsters at that. I recommended the film Troll Hunter. It’s in Norwegian but with English subtitles, actually one of the best films I’ve watched with the found footage style.

I interpreted it as the Engineers were creating life with their black goo. that's what all the vases were. but because it reacts so potently with organisms, the vases became contaminated and perhaps what came out scared all the Engineers and killed them except the one. maybe he saw their mistake and wanted to kill off all their created planets(I'm just guessing here) and start over or maybe they have a cycle where they start life over after several generations. Then, our crew came into contact with it here and woke up the surviving Engineer who was now pissed and wanted to finish what he started. I haven't seen the next movie, I'm waiting for when you guys react!
