The movie that scared me the most the first time I saw it is probably Sinister. The thing that really gets me is sound and the sound design in that movie is nuts. Another honorable mention that's really just unsettling more so than scary is Lake Mungo. The most disturbing movie I've seen (I don't count the shock horror movies like Human Centipede or Martyrs) was actually a lifetime movie called Girl in the Basement that I watched on Hulu. That was so disturbing to me because it really happened.

OMG this is my FAVORITE horror movie ever, I’m so happy you two watched this, it’s such an iconic movie with great jump scares, I’m so excited to watch your reaction this one!!

not a movie so i dont know if you'd have time for it but i think you would LOVE the limited series the haunting of hill house, if you haven't seen it already. it's horror, so perfect for spooky season, but so much more than that in a way i think you two would really appreciate. for what it’s worth too, from what i’ve seen there is a huge audience that watches hill house reactions so it should perform well on yt!

The Long Island case is Amityville. Or the Amityville Horror of which is a good ol school movie. I heard some time ago the reason clocks stop at 3am is it's believed that's when Jesus passed. I hope you can squeeze Poltergeist and the king of horror: The Exorcist : )

Mike Jenson

Oh yes. The real Annabell doll is actually a raggedy Anne doll

Another great watch with The Media Knights! Your discussions afterwords are always the highlight for me. Your love for cinema is very infectious, to say the least. Keep up the good work, is all I can say. Can't wait for more Spooky/Creepy movies for this month. One of my favourites is a 2010 movie called Trollhunter. Add that to the list, if you haven't seen it.

Have you ever seen Sinister with Ethan Hawk? I think it's a masterclass in setting the atmosphere of horror.

I’m not recommending this, but a movie that has given me lasting anxiety is Tales from the Hood. I watched it way too young with my older brother and his friends. Put it on yesterday for the first time in 30 years to face my fear thinking I’m a grown ass woman and this will probably look cheesy now. All the anxiety came flooding back as soon as I hit play. Even though most of the stories aren’t scary, the one with the creepiest dolls I’ve ever seen and the reason I’m scared of dolls, still made me cover my eyes. Maybe in another 30 years🤣🤣

I don't personally find this movie scary at all (I have a theory about possession and demonic haunting movies only being scary to people that grew up with religion). But they really hit a home run with the fantastic cinematography, the sound design, and the building of atmosphere. This movie is fantastic in its execution, and I never get tired of watching it. The atmosphere that horror movies create is very hit or miss for me. I love the horror genre, but I watch most horror movies for the fun, not the scares. Sometimes in trying to slowly build tension, some of these movies go TOO slow and tension bleeds out and leaves me bored. Or it goes the other way, and they rely too much on cheap jump scares to make up for weak atmosphere. But this movie is excellently paced on top of everything else. I hope you're planning to do the other movies in the series eventually, and the "Annabelle" movies as well. Not all of them are this fantastic, but I do enjoy them quite a bit.

Depends on the point of view . I was grown up with religion and don't find such kind of horrors scary . People sometimes scares their own shadows

Please try to fit in some foreign horror; High Tension, Audition and Susperia I'd love to see a reaction to. Thank you for the quality content.

Hereditary is not only my favorite horror movie but one of my favorite movies in general and I've made people watch it so we can be anxious wrecks together lol. I also love The Haunting of Hill House and I've rewatched it several times even though I am not a particularly brave person just because behind all of the scary stuff is an incredibly beautiful story about love and loss and grief. If you haven't watched it I think you should, even if it's not with us, because I think you two would really enjoy and have lots to say about episode 6!

The conjuring universe is amazing conjuring 2 and the nun are my favorite

Daniel Garcia

My favorite horror film is The Thing. Growing up as a kid popping that VHS tape in the VCR and pressing play. Memories 💯👻🤯

Putting aside that the Warren's have been debunked and this isn't actually a true story, in the same sense that Amityville isn't true; that being said, I stil really enjoy this movie. The directing is great, camerawork, beautifully done sets and location. Suspense was on par and the makeup done on Joseph Bishara as Bathsheba is wonderful.
