CALLED IT! For a second I was doubting and thinking it may be Patriot Day

Raven Dark

Oh my gosh.... how did this happen and I didn't know?! Woo hoo!

Excellent movie, but I still can’t think of a fugitive without hearing Jim Carrey in my head saying it wasn’t me, it was the one armed man.

Jennifer

Woo! Yes! This is one of my top 5 favorites for Tommy Lee Jones! I definitely know what I'm watching tonight 🍿

Donna Castellano

I hope you guys eventually give Ridley Scott's Blackhawk Down a watch. Someone on my flight back from Las Vegas Saturday night was watching it. And I was like, "Man, I hope they react to that soon". 🤣

U.S. Marshalls is a quality sequel. RDJ and Wesley Snipes star with most of the Marshall crew returning. Presumed Innocent is another classic 90's film (courtroom drama/thriller) starring Harrison Ford. Did you guys recognize Jane Lynch as the blond doctor around the 1:01 timestamp? Tommy Lee won the best supporting Oscar for this one.

AniLunchbox

hope we get the spin of sequel sooner than later.

Tommy Lee Jones received a well deserved Oscar for this film. In his acceptance speech he said “Above all I thank the man who needs no support at all, Harrison Ford.” Very gracious man

Cameron Kerby

Great reaction you guys. And the sequel, U.S. Marshals, is top notch. And it has RDJ AND Wesley Snipes in it too. Check it out.

I am actually a bit disappointed that you did not marvel at the best actor in this movie, the great Andreas Katsulas. Known from Babylon 5 as a regular and Star Trek as a recurring guest character. He sadly passed away in 2006.

This was so fun! It's been so long since I saw this it was actually a bit of a rediscovery for me. Thank you for reminding me how good this movie is. The script is super tight with really no gaps. It all makes sense, but the road to the end is basically constant tension. I love how many times we as the audience feel the same way as Fords character, just hunted by everyone. I love how the suspense is there throughout everything. I agree about the ending, but I think it is just part of the charm of the era. The acting is superb of course. Ford is 100% believable but still with the gravitas he always has. We can identify with him, but at the same time admire how quickly he thinks on his feet. Even though Ford is excellent, for me the show stealer is Tommy Lee Jones. The man just chews up every scene and the charisma just oozes of the screen. In regards to effects there really isn't that much crazy stuff going on. The train scene in the beginning is well done and intense, but other than that most of the action is fairly easy to accomplish. It is however very well shot, so we as an audience constantly feel immersed. In some ways a forgotten gem, but a hell of a movie. I would highly recommend doing the inofficial sequel as well, US Marshals. No Ford, but Lee Jones returns as Gerard in another manhunt, this time for Wesley Snipes. Not as good, but when you have Lee Jones it almost doesn't matter. Also, if you feel your stomach is quite full of Tommy Lee Jones, Under Siege with Steven Seagal can be an appertizer. Great reaction, great film! Until next time!

Excellent choice, haven't seen this in a long time and it is so good. I also think that the death sentence that Kimble gets plays important role because that sort of allows him to go all in with his escape and investigation, like in the dam scene, either he jumps and maybe dies or surrenders and gets executed. Many people mentioned the sequel to this but there is also a spoof made out of this starring Leslie Nielsen called Wrongfully Accused and it is a wonderful silly fun movie.

Dre

Since it’s the holiday can u guys plz watch violent night

Gail Seaton Humbert

I suggest La Femme Nikita and Leon. Both awesome films. I thought of them because the new film Rumours with Kate Blanchett co-stars Roy Dupuis who played in the French Canadian series La Femme Nikita. Which I also recommend you watch for the different (from American) film style and scenes choreographed to independent music like Depeche Mode that Denise in particular will enjoy.

If you're in the mood for some 90's movies, I've got 4 movies I highly recommend. A Time To Kill Kiss The Girls A Perfect World Sleepers Great movies, but very underrated.

and if you really want to indulge ... the series to La Femme Nikita, a few of them have existed over the years. One with the stunning Peta Wilson, but I just felt her energy somehow didn't quite match the role. And what is imho the better version with the magnificent Maggie Q. Now she has the looks, the build and the energy for a role like this.
