I just watched it for the first time (that I remember) this Halloween and I was like wow this is crazy, lol. I'm missing Scream 5 so I have no idea what that one is and I need to find it before I see Scream 6. So once again I'm falling behind on movies.

Emma Roberts is such an amazing actress and I especially love her when she does horror/thriller. She was absolutely fantastic in the American Horror Story series. Another movie she was in with cool thriiler/suspense vibes is called Nerve.

One of my favourite "high school (comedy, drama and/or horror) movies" that also include: - Last House on the Left (2009) - Shark Night (2011) - Twelve (2010) - Nerve (2016) - My Soul to Take (2010) - It's Kind of a Funny Story (2010) - Red State (2011) - Alpha Dog (2006) - Assassination of a High School President (2008) - The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) These are some deep cuts that I doubt anyone would ask for, but trust me, they're worth it.

The last Scream from Wes Craven, a return to form IMO. I'm glad he got to make it! The third act is so insane, I think Jill is easily my favorite killer outside of Billy and Stu. Emma Roberts CRUSHED this role!

Y'all appreciating the parking lot scene made me think of P2--maybe Denise has seen it? Not exactly ground breaking, but a fairly solid horror movie for it's time. P2 and While She Was Out give me similar vibes; go with P2 for Wes Bentley and While She Was Out for Kim Basinger. I'm not a huge cat-and-mouse person (it gets old way too fast for me) but if you like that style, these two are decent. A really good cat-and-mouse horror is Don't Breathe. The sequel is pretty good, too.
