*NO SPOILERS* I went to see Thunderbolts* yesterday at my local movie theater and I actually really enjoyed it. Mostly because it was different than what I've seen from Marvel before. Ps. I encourage people to watch both the mid credit scene and definitely the end credit scene.

1:40 - I actually completely agree with you. There still were *a lot* of funny moments but the character was more somber, which - for an immortal being - also felt more fitting to me. I think the character got progressively worse and then so did the story. I did not really like the second film because it felt more like they wanted Thor to be like batman (Dark Knight Rises released between first and second Thor movie) and I absolutely despise the third and fourth movies. Both Character and Story are just ridiculous. That may also be influenced by the fact that you can clearly see Taika Waititi's influence and I do not like his writing or directing at all. I think the issue is that they thought they needed to "correct" his character from the first movie, make him edgy, that failed and so they hired a "Comedic Writer" and overcorrected his character into this absurd parody. It's a shame really, since I loved the message of this film and the development of the flawed hero character.
