It's details like spores that I've forgotten about...my God my god chef's kiss. I like to try to get into the headspace of everybody on screen, understand their character like the actor playing them would....came alllll the way out of that when she said Joel got what he deserve--wooooooweeee I wanted to beat the hair back onto Prudence's fine ass head. Sorry, I mean Nora. Tati killed that scene and Isabel Merced is, just scene after scene, nailing it. There was a brief split second of non gamer idiot-flavoured hope where I thought Ellie got saved by...wait for it...Joel, or the ghost of Joel. I knew it was stupid when I thought it, for alllll the reasons it would be an idiotic line of thought to pursue but still...it's hard to process that he's gone and I thought they were ultra fuckered so I couldn't imagine who else would come for them. Then friggin Jesse enters the chat. Coo. I mostly remember rolling joints and such while the homie played this so spores are like a forgotten nostalgic surprise. I love revenge themed, well, anything--it's my favourite type of film, my fave theme and genre, so I rock with both Abby AND Ellie, they both deserve their revenge IMO. I'm just grateful I get to watch 🤣🤣😭😁🙃🫠😎

This episode did address some of my criticisms and reeled the actual Part 2 story back into the show between the spores and Nora etc. etc. after they ignored most of it, so, we'll see where it goes. 4 and 5 were good imo.
