TOP GUN: MAVERICK (2022) FULL LENGTH MOVIE REACTION - WATCH ALONG

I think I’ve watched this five times now and I still really enjoy watching it. It was also one of the best cinema experiences I’ve ever had, the guy really knows how to make action movies you have to watch at the cinema. They also was no wasted second in the film it just took you on an incredible ride from beginning to end. That’s also this WW2 Mustang fighter plane he was flying at the end of the film. My only very small negative was them mentioning the F-14 fighters in the briefing before the mission. Because i then thought Maverick would get shot down so we could have the nostalgia moment with the F-14. Don’t get me wrong I love that he end up in that fighter jet, but I just wished they had reviled it after he was shot down.

Love this movie! I miss wearing the flight suit and being up in the air, but that's for the young guys now. They need to make a star wars fighter movie just like the way they made this one.

Hadn't seen this one and it was an absolute treat watching it with you guys! I am fully with you, I think this might actually be the better movie. Ignoring the incredible aerial sequences, I think Maverick actually has a both a better story and better acting. Sure, we need the first one for this one to truly have impact and the relationships developed throughout the movie is ofc based on the relationships we already loved from the first film. But it feels more mature and more real. Very impressed by the whole feel of the movie. Also, I just want to add that the love story in this one feels less forced in. It works in the first movie quite well but in this one I feel there is more at stake even in the love interest (she has a kid, they have been through it before, he might die in this mission). The callbacks are great and I also agree with you guys that they show a lot of respect to Tony Scotts original vision. Excellent choice to watch this, thank you for bringing me along!
