Peak peak peak peak, peak peak peak peak, peak peak peak peak... CHAAAAAARGE!! Sorry... childhood baseball flashback. This is the best Cap film for me. Civil War just never resonated with me like Winter Soldier. And... we don't talk about the last one... Now to just make sure my Disney+ loads BEFORE I hit play. Don't want a repeat of the Iron Man 3 debacle. LOL You guys are definitely gonna love it. ❤️❤️❤️ I had to make a quick edit. The scene on the ship. Back when movie makers KNEW how to shoot a night scene, but light it so well. Today it's all "We gotta make this REALLY dark so people know it's at night" and I sit there going "I... can't see what's going on"

Everyone mocked Captain America for being a boy scout and acting like a goody two shoes then this movie made everyone say, " Damn! Since when did Cap become a badass?" Steve's trilogy kept going up especially with Civil War.

That's by design. You need to have your own license to watch the movie (i.e., have a subscription service that offers the movie, or own it on some media), and you essentially watch it yourself why simultaneously listening to the reactions.

Great reaction and analysis, but you missed the after credit scene.😕 It's still my favourite mcu movie. The story, the action, the music .... chef's kiss. The highway scene is still the best action/fight scene in the mcu. Also loved the Horse Whisperer reunion (Robert Retford and Scarlet Johansson).

Idk why but this was so much better on my second watch. I think it's because, at that the time this came out, the movie mirrored the real world a lot. Of course, we know how that all turned out but - now when it's not so close to reality I'm really able to appreciate this for what it is.

If you are reacting to a movie that you have already seen, you should make that very clear at the beginning. Your reactions don't seem authentic when you've already seen the movie and you know what's coming.

We’ve made it clear multiple times that we’ve pretty much seen the Infinity Saga and we are going through this entire journey again. We’ve stated it in multiple intros, they are there for a reason. This is the 9th film so far…forgive us for assuming it would be known by now… To answer your other point, it’s been years since we’ve seen these. That’s the whole point, watching these now that we are adults and can grasp these films fully and not just focus on the action. We get to appreciate all of the narrative and the technical aspects and what it takes to make these films. It doesn’t have to be for you…and you also don’t have to watch if you don’t enjoy.

The first film was a great way to introduce him and show us how much heart he has. The second film sort of re introduces him to us after spending time in the modern era and shows us just how much of a badass he can be. Such an amazing sequel! ❤️🙌

This is exactly why it’s so important to re visit films after some time has passed. Life experiences can definitely change how we perceive things. Glad you had a good experience with this film the second time around ❤️

I was at the El Capitan Marvel Marathon for Age of Ultron and the funniest moment was when someone shouted out in the most deadpan way, "WHAT!?!", when the mask was ripped off. Most of us were pretty sleep deprived at this point running on fumes and that moment reinvigorated the crowd and carried us to Age of Ultron. Who could have guessed the guys behind the show Community would come out with this amazing spy thriller forcing Steve and the audience to reevaluate their beliefs. This is my favorite MCU film and next up is my current number 1 favorite movie of all time... "Hail, what's the matter with your head, yeah".

at the end of the movie where Steve, Sam & Fury are standing over Fury's grave, the tombstone has Samuel L Jackson's quote from Pulp Fiction about the "righteous man"

Watching Agents of SHIELD as it aired, I was so glad I saw this movie on opening day. I can't remember when it was, but the episode that revealed HYDRA was in SHIELD aired like within a few days of this movie's release. I would have been so pissed if I'd watched AOS first and had WS spoiled. Something interesting about the Winter Soldier is it's meaning. Thomas Paine coined the term "summer soldier", referring to someone who abandons a fight when it gets too hard, they lack conviction. The winter soldier is the opposite, those who fight on during the most difficult times. While Bucky's code name is the Winter Soldier, Cap is most definitely a winter soldier too. Makes the title Captain America: Winter Soldier even more layered. As yall know, this is my favorite MCU film. Nothing has beaten it. It's still peak. I wish they'd get back to this kind of filmmaking in the MCU. Hopefully we'll see it again with the X-Men, but I'm having trouble holding onto hope.

I was the only person who laughed outloud in a packed theatre when they showed Fury's headstone. 🤣I really hope SLJ puts that on his actual headstone. It's just so intwined with him since Pulp Fiction.

Ok! I promise I'll take a break after this XD But just wanna give one more shout out/recommendation to watch Agents of Shield. Even if you just watch it for yourself and not on the channel. The tie-in with this movie is masterful, and it gives such a good picture of what would happen in the world if the biggest intelligence agency was suddenly compromised, and the perspective of regular everyday agents who joined SHIELD to do some good and then this happened. I consider it to be the best show Marvel's ever made and the characters are so well done. It starts slow but there are no wasted episodes and everything pays off by the end of the season. Ok, I'm done, thanks for reading XD This movie is so good though, and I really enjoyed getting to watch it with you guys! I love how grounded and intense it is with interesting moral questions and top-tier tension and pacing. And getting to see Steve adjusting to the modern world and how to live out his values now, was also done so well
