I know you guys don't typically do longer shows, but based on your reactions to this, you two have got to watch Stranger Things. Movie-level cinematography and score, great mix of drama and paranormal/fantasy with hints of horror/thriller, and great acting--that show is so far up your alley, it's not even funny. Oh, yeah, and the show takes place in the 80s, capturing that time period extremely well. It'll take a bit for you to see why I recommend ST here, but when you get it, it'll make perfect sense.

I went into this movie blind, and this was a creepy movie and the filming style with the story almost makes you feel more creeped out and uneasy but it was such a great movie and all made sense by the end. And that one scene where the school principle runs up to Justine and just starts attacking her was the creepiest for me. This is one of those rare 10/10 psychological horror movies.
