You guys should watch End of Watch. I think you’d appreciate the style of filming. Plus the chemistry between the main characters is amazing.

This is Taylor Sheridan power lifting for the first movie he ever wrote. Sicario is part of a soft but intentional thematic trilogy that isn't well known they go together under the heading of "frontier justice" - it goes Sicario, Hell or High Water and then Wind River; and every one of them is _exceptional_ in their own way. Back on this movie - I really love the ending where Kate points her weapon at Alejandro, there are layers to that part and nobody ever picks up on it - if she kills him, she's down at his level, I think that's the obvious layer, but also he turns to her face on to give her a better shot and almost as if to say almost "please do, put me out of my misery".
