Cool fact there’s this game about the guardians made by the same people that’s done spider-man so it’s called MARVELS the guardians of the galaxy. Anyway in the game Peter quill names himself star lord because of this rock band he discovered when he was a kid. And here’s the fun fact that band has actual music that YOU can find right now on YouTube Spotify Apple Music or whatever and honestly if your a fan of 80 Space metal then I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I remember seeing this, then a friend who HADN'T seen it wanted to, and we caught it at the theater a couple blocks from my apartment, where they show "older" movies from a month or two prior. He paid for the tickets and snacks, so I was like "Oh he is gonna love this." and he did, he walked out, into the slushie January snow laden streets endlessly talking about "Not 100% a dick" that became our in-joke as we played Dragon Age.

i was never big into marvel until guardians came out. the soundtrack, the humor, the bond between the characters… it was so different, but so good. my favorites in the mcu for sure

After my first watch of this movie on opening night, it became my most favorite movie and it still is today. One of my most mortifying moments of my life was when I thought this would be the perfect movie to uplift my friend's spirits who was back in town taking care of his mom's estate as she had just passed away. 10 seconds in and I made my realization what I had just done. Thankfully, even after the first couple of minutes, it did help.

I remembered playing LEGO Marvel Superheroes (2013) and the Guardians are unlockable characters. I also watched Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes on Disney XD and they popped up in season 2. Besides that, didn't know who they were. Guardians of the Galaxy sounds better than Protectors of the Universe.

I know these are rewatches, but have you considered watching Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D.? The show starts off tied into the movies from phase 1&2(post avengers, Thor: dark world, CA: winter soldier)
