Comments

Sime

Aaaa I was waiting for this one! I’ve literally never sobbed to the point of a headache before in a cinema, it was the saddest experience but perhaps my favourite movie of the year

Adrianna Marie Aka AD

Feeling a little off today so I'll be putting this on while I work. Thanks for dropping this one! It absolutely had me SOBBING my first watch. I am sure yall will find this one amazing.

The book blew my mind reading it as a teen. They did a great job with the movie. Loved seeing Andy again. But your reaction… I was holding my breath. The film was so gut wrenching. Visceral intense emotional. It really reaches you.

At the end, after Andy killed the general, when you see Andy walking down the street, he is already dead; that's his ghost. That's why the street is empty as Andy walks down the street.

This movie is so good! I feel so bad for JoJo Rabbit, the first movie I've seen him in since then and he's the first to go, and THE example of the High Stakes we find ourselves in. Im curious if you guys already seen or planning on watching Life of Chuck?

Duarte Dunn

Have you seen 'What If...?' series?

I have been waiting since seeing it in theaters for y'all to watch this one. It is SO intense, emotional, and stays with you for so long which I found honestly comforting in some weird way? If you haven't seen already, Stephen King wrote the story as an allegory for the Vietnam war and the draft. When you watch it knowing that you see SO many gut punches that really put a mirror to how callously we treat soldiers in war. Also, the ending is meant to be ambiguous! The novel ended differently but it was also done to be up for interpretation. The movie ending reflects the dueling perspectives of the whole movie, hopeful (Pete not dying, but losing himself to the walk and never stopping walking just like he said he always had) and angry/vengeful (he was shot the moment he pulled the trigger and now must walk the afterlife alone).

Lauren Jernigan

Also King said he would only let them make the movie if they kept the deaths gruesome and didn't shy away from showing them. He believed those were the moments people needed to see to truly feel the pain and discomfort of the story.

I heard there was a screening for the movie where you walk on a treadmill and if you stop then you get kicked out of the theater.

Hi 👋 Thurein.. "YES" a Special Screening for the 2025 film Adaptation of Stephen King's novel "The Long Walk" which required Attendees to Walk on a Treadmill at a minimum Speed for the entire Duration of the Movie, or be escorted out. This Unique, Immersive Marketing Event was held by Lionsgate at the Culver Theater in Los Angeles in August 2025, ahead of the Film's General Theatrical Release in September. Yeeesh...I knew the surface premise of the film through the trailers, but I didn't know it was going to be this in depth. Very good film. Unfortunately films like this don't get nominated. It definitely should. Great casting, great acting.

This movie was so good. The entire premise was insane. A movie you guys should watch is Elemental from Pixar. It’s a really good love story film and a little bit of culture.
