RIP Du Ho, I loved him. The Heat Vampire Titan was... terrifying. I don't remember if she is or not, but I think the reason Keiko is so vehemently against using the nuke on Goji is because she might have been from Hiroshima. Either out of town or when she was at Berkley. But that's just my theory. I cannot WAIT for you to absolutely binge the next five episodes at once like I did.

Is it just me or was episode five shown partially again after it had already ended? Can't tell because of the blur and lack of audio, but it looks like it.

I will agree that episodes 4 & 5 were a bit of a drag. I just don't find the character development of the younger players all that interesting. I pretty much just grit my teeth and muscled my way through them. Seeing some elements of those episodes, such as the Frost-Vark titan and the state of the people of San Francisco having to live in FEMA housing, we're very interesting and helped me get through them. It is only the characters from the past that have the best development IMO. I am confident that the show does get at least a little bit better right up to the penultimate and season finale being great conclusions. Some things I want to share regarding episode 3: I have seen other reaction channels watch this episode and kinda complain that the military should've acknowledged Keiko Miura's explanation that Godzilla feeds on radiation and the bomb wouldn't have affected him. I've commented on their posts that the military did take that into account and just hoped that the heat and force of the 15-megaton thermonuclear bomb would destroy him. 15-megatons is approximately 15 million tons of dynamite, and when the bomb detonated it unleashed a fireball miles wide that burned at several million degrees. The fact that Godzilla endured that up close and walked away unscathed is nothing short of spectacular. The one bomb that could probably do some damage to Godzilla is the Tsar Bomba, a Soviet-made 50-megaton bomb tested in 1961. Also, when Keiko was on the beach crying after the bomb exploded, I immediately began to think of Dr. Serizawa. She reminds me of him to a large degree.

My brother felt the same way about the mid section. But then we got super into it and ended up loving it. And as for the flaws of these characters I guess it's just humans having grey areas? 🤷🏾‍♂️
