Yesss...this begins the BIG 3 cinematics! Awaken, Warriors and The Call are all lore based cinematics where we get to peer into the lives of these champions! These 3 cinematics never cease to amaze me and send shivers down my spine in growing intensity with each one! Awaken depicts 3 scenes: a battle during the ongoing Noxian-Ionian war, a confrontation between Camille in Jhin in a Piltover theater, and Riven fighting in Draven's Noxian gladiator pits. Noxus, the place Mel's (from Arcane) folks are from, is invading the nearby isolationist country of Ionia. Ionia is comprised of many small disparate peoples that had never flown under one banner until united under Irelia, the woman you see first in this cinematic. It's amazing to see all these different champions working together as it represents the cooperation Ionia eventually has in order to repel Noxian forces. I'm none too familiar with Jhin's lore so bare with me, but Jhin travels to Piltover to go on a killing spree, killing many members of a high society. Camille, an investigator ('Intelligencer') serving her Piltovan high house, Clan Ferros, looks into these murders and sees Jhin as a threat. I'm not sure we get an outcome of this meeting in lore, but there's always Arcane Season 2! I would LOVE to see a cameo of Camille, but I worry if she actually gets involved with the Arcand storyline, the plot would become muddled very quickly. She has alot to add to the plot. Jhin does as well, but he's a drama queen and that's to be expected. Last but not least is Riven fighting in the Pits. Draven is the overseer to the fighting pits of Noxus as his means of serving the society. Most folks know he gets his kicks from the glory of fighting. Winning serves to stroke his very large ego. Riven was an outcast Noxian general that was spurned from her time in the Noxian-Ionian war. It's assumed she was captured upon her return to Noxus. Draven sees her as a formidable opponent and I can only hope he gets put in his place.

Wow Rabbid! You never cease to impress us man. Thank you for the amazing backstory on these! After Arcane season 2 assuming they move forward with the same storyline. I guess it would be a safe bet that Noxus will play a part in season 2. Specially after Mel's presumable death. Which we'll have to see a confirmation first. Camille and Jhin looked amazing in this cinematics. And the colors of the theater...the entire vibe just perfect!
