Comments

I prefer Ancient War movies like Gladiator, 300 and TROY as suppose to modern day war movies but this has one of the most intense opening sequences to a movie regardless of genre, and you can never go wrong with tom hanks looking forward to more of yal'ls reactions! The Godfather is getting closer and closer cant wait! (sorry if my Godfather comments have gotten annoying) lol cant help it 🙏😁🤷‍♂️

Man! The opening sequence is so intense and the filmmaking makes it feel so raw. Truly one of the best war films I’ve seen. Haven’t seen all the Ancient War movies though! Might give them a try as well! Ohhh yeah! Godfather is coming to Patreon in August 😄 we hope we can deliver. We know you’ve been waiting for that one

Y'all will do just fine, I trust y'all lol 🙏😊 and trust me those ancient war movies I mentioned Top Tier, when the time comes they will be worth it (chefs kiss) 💯

I absolutely hate this movie. But I don't enjoy war movies, never. I really enjoyed your reaction to it, though <3 good job! If you are on a Tom Hanks spree, you should watch Captain Philipps. It's nervewracking, but very different from this, and it's based on a true story :)

Every time I watch this movie my face is wet from the tears. I felt like I was right there in the moment with this team.

My dad was deployed in the Middle East through a lot of my childhood, and I got into watching war movies as sort of a way of feeling connected with him while he was away. I would watch them and feel like maybe I understood what he was going through (I know that's silly, but I was young). When he got home, he wasn't into watching war movies, but this was the one movie in this genre that we watched together. He was really quiet and still through the whole thing. He said afterward that he respected the way the events were depicted and thought it was a good movie, but I really felt like I had dragged him into something he really didn't want to see. It was the last time I asked him to watch a war movie with me, even though I still like watching them. No one in my family served in World War 2. My Grandpa was drafted and served in Vietnam, and my great, great (great? I forget if it was two or three) Grandpa fought in World War 1. Then my dad did multiple tours in the Middle East. So, military pride runs deep in my family. I was seriously injured as a kid, so I wasn't physically able to serve, but my dad says he would never have wanted that for me anyway. But I still find these movies (both modern and ancient war movies) fascinating, sometimes inspiring, and often heartbreaking. I know too many war movies can be a bit too heavy and you would probably plan to space them out if more are on your list, but I was wondering if you had any plans to see "Platoon" and/or "Black Hawk Down"? Those are the two modern war movies I would most like to see you react to since you've done "Saving Private Ryan" and "Hacksaw Ridge" already. And in terms of historical ones that I don't see on your Patreon, can I also suggest "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World"? I enjoyed watching this with you, and I hope you're both having a great day, week, and more. ✌️🤓
