Third favorite movie of all time. I can almost guarantee I’ve seen this movie more times than anyone has ever seen any movie in their life. Even though it’s my third, I’ve still seen, and still watch it more than any other movie. Ripley is my space mom. Watching this movie, listening to it, having it on in the background when I’m doing whatever, it makes me feel safe. I feel very fortunate to have been a kid in the 80’s. I was given the most amazing heroes to look up to and inspire me through a lot of childhood trauma.
