In terms of being the king of found footage, I would have to give it to Canibial Hallocoust. That is one of the only horror films that messed me up. tho I would not recommend it without extreme caution it was banned in 60 countries when it came out.

As a citizen of the great state of Maryland, I am contractually obligated to mention that this was filmed in the great state of Maryland. I actually got my associates degree from the school the characters in this movie were doing the project for! We're insanely proud of this film.

just some background for the way this was filmed. THe actors were left instruction and food daily and they filmed everything themselves

The directors commentary on this movie is great and very funny but really goes into the making-of nuances. Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows wasn’t good but I really enjoyed the most recent “The Blair Witch” and adds more to the lore and nature of the events but keeps the same spirit.
