Most underrated is such a hard question bc you have a big cast and everyone besides the main charas get so little screentime/their quirks are underutilized which makes sense bc the are like 15 and need room to grow. I'd say Froppy tho. She should be top 5 in the whole class. In terms of having nerves of steel and being able to do hero work she's the best, be it rescue or villain work.

His Hero Name is Tsukuyomi, like most MHA characters its pretty on the nose. Tsukuyomi is a japanese moon god. You prolly heard the name in naruto too. Tsukuyomi (Moon God), Amaterasu (Sun God) and Susanoo (Storm God) are one of the most prominent trios in japanese mythology. They're all siblings like Poseidon, Zeus and Hades. His real name is Tokoyami Fumikage. I just now that yami means darkness and kage means shadowm dk about the other parts but i guess something edgy

I agree that Sero is underrated. He’s probably somewhere in the middle-to-lower range of Class 1-A when it comes to screen time, but his quirk is actually really versatile. I think most people like him, but he definitely doesn’t get enough credit.

I love Lemillion, but realistically he wouldn’t be able to take on AFO in a 1v1. He’s great at dodging attacks since he’s basically untouchable, but all he really has offensively are his fists.

They made a suit out of Lemillion’s hair. They should really make one out of the Invisible Girl’s hair so she doesn’t have to be naked and can have gloves that aren’t visible. They could probably make her big pockets to hold weapons and items.

I love this show so much but i think Horikoshi goofed with how he writes his female characters and i find that they tend to be in the background compared to their male counterparts. There are so many characters in the show that you can't write a backstory for everyone but i just wish we had more epic moments for Momo or Froppy like we had for Kirishima or even what Tokoyami just had rather than use them for fan service. I know these episodes was once again a setback for Momo to learn from but not a fan of the sidelining. Anyways, my underated hero is Uraraka she is the definition of best girl :)

I agree. MHA is one of my favorite shows, but the way the female characters are written and portrayed is the one thing that brings it down a bit for me. It’s especially frustrating because they have so much potential.

I always thought Midnight just enjoys seeing how these kids grow and mature through their actions/decisions. She always gets excited when they do something “youthful,” so correct me if I’m wrong, but it never felt sexual in any way for me. Yes, she’s a perv, but it didn’t seem like it was because she’s into her students, just the way they behaved because she enjoyed that period in her own life.

I definitely don’t prefer Koji Koda as a character but communication with animals for like stealth and scouting high (for example he could like wasps or something to get locations or ants sneak up on operations). He would be really useful to hero society later but he does give ace sidekick vibes more than a hero.

I usually don't get into character ratings because it's useless to me but, with MHA it's a bit easier to do. I'm going to use the terms "overrated", "underrated", and "fairly rated", correctly. 😤 ✨☝🏾Overrated - Lemillion: I love him to pieces, and he is an awesome hero that worked hard to get where he is. But I think the fans and the manga itself overrates him. His power is unique and has all kinds of uses, his attitude is perfect, but he's just not strong enough. He can't one shot anybody. ✨👇🏾Underrated - Invisible Girl: Her power is more suited for recon and surprise attacks than anything, so I don't expect her to go head-to-head with villains all the time. Fans rate her too low and based on All Might standards imo. ✨💪🏾Fairly Rated - Best Jeanist: Fan and the manga rate him fairly imo. Not ya'll forgetting Tokoyami's hero name! 😭But I guess it makes sense, it's all Japanese! ✨Tokoyami Fumikage - His whole name, his real name. ✨Tsukuyomi - His hero name, it's actually the name of a Japanese god. Don't remember this from Naruto? This was also an eye technique Itachi used. ✨Dark Shadow - His quirk name and the name of his shadow bird!

Also with Momo's quirk, it takes time for her to make big stuff too. She has to create time to make something bigger. I wouldn't say this is "battle of the mid" 😭, they're doing their best as heroes, give the kiddos a break. Not everyone is All Might jr. or son of Endeavor.

This season has the two BEST endings in the show hands down. They are SOOOO GOOD. The second ending might be one of my fav songs OAT it just hits on every level. The lyrics are so sad and relate to every main characters struggles with their demons. Without spoilers I URGE YOU ALL (not just the boys I mean ALL) to come back after watching the final season for this show when it airs and read the lyrics OMFG DUDE I know for a fact if yall love this shows themes and messages your heart will implode so PLEASE do me this favor cause HOLY CANOLLI this show gets the heart going and the flood gates open.

Horikoshi puts a lot of care into making his characters- it’s his main strength and adds to the fleshing out of the universe. Unfortunately he doesn’t always know how to use them, so a LOT get easy plot development options even if it goes against their initial characterization. Makes the under/overrated conversation kind of difficult, because for some characters we’ll never know how great they can really be, and we never get an accurate assessment of their capabilities. Sometimes I wonder what My Hero would’ve been if the development for each individual character had been given more attention, and how that would have changed/affected the plot. I guess we’ll never know lol Exhibit A: Midnight is a little weird, but my question is why they hired someone with the title “R-rated hero” to work with minors in the first place. Like what was the thought process there,, low-key it tanked her potential because we never really got to see her do real hero work without being around students, which makes it weird cause her whole thing is being adult. Mineta is another example of - he could’ve been SO cool if his character had been about more than being a pervert, but unfortunately instead of getting to see cool application for his quirk or any actual backstory we got him trying to steal underwear. Uraraka, Kaminari, and Yaoyorozu should have been some of the most powerful students at UA (creation, electricity, and literal GRAVITY), but each of them got stuck with some defining characteristic that ultimately gets in the way of personal development. Imagine if Yaomomo interned with Fatgum, or learned how make a gun Make no mistake though, the MHA world is entertaining because it feels real, BECAUSE we get a thorough glimpse of it through each of its characters. As flawed as the plot can be and even though it kind of leaves some characters hanging, MHA has a LOT of individual, distinct personalities that liven the story up, and when Horikoshi DOES lock in with his characters, he Locks In.

Don't know if someone else mentioned it before but Hagakure's quirk isn't invisibility, but light rifraction. This is why she's invisible, it's a consequence of her quirk

My underrated hero’s in the series is Kamui & Mt Lady, I can’t explain the full reason at the moment cause of spoilers but I will say that I respect their commitments to being hero’s. Especially Mt Lady, I know she’s kinda portrayed as a ditsy character that’s only in it for the spotlight but when it comes to her job of being a hero, she takes it seriously

First fight was good but the second one was straight ASS lol. The glazing of Momo in the end was definitely waaay over the top, she did absolutely nothing. She could've given the goggles and whatever other stupid gadget she made to them BEFORE the fight. She could make shields with spikes or something. She could make a damn TASER or something, she's so damn useless. The author dumbed down Kendo so useless Momo would get a forced moment to shine amd she STILL didn't manage. "She was always looking ahead" MY ASS, this is the few times I think the author is literally taking the piss. And mushrooms bro, what a stupid power for a stupid character. Freaking invisible useless girl, such a bad fight god. Tokoyami with his unintentional genius edgy comedy saved the episode, Kuroiro is alright but he's way too actually edgy to be compelling. What a low huh, never show me this episode again

Is he not? I mean obviously he'd lose in a contest of strength against someone like Deku or Muscular, but he's capable of knocking villains out cold with single hits, so his punches are far from weak. I mean, he can propel himself rapidly by ejecting from a wall with his quirk, so he's strong in the sense that Gran Torino is strong. And we've seen Gran Torino put a low tier Nomu into the concrete.
