The reason Do-young said he wouldn’t leave Yeon-jin is because of Dong-eun. If he divorces Yeon-jin, Dong-eun would have no reason to see him again since her goal would already be accomplished. That’s why Do-young chose to stay by Yeon-jin’s side—so he could see Dong-eun again. He himself hasn’t realized this reason yet. He isn’t trying to deny that his wife is a bad person. He already knows the truth. But he is putting off making a decision for the sake of his daughter.

Yeonjin's Mom is crazy and another character I can't stand... She's just as bad as her daughter. They both are evil in different ways. Her Mom is so annoying with her bug eyes and arrogant attitude. I forgot the part when she runs over Mrs. Kang's husband like roadkill. Haha He deserved it. Too bad, he didn't die. He's pretty dumb and guillable. As they say, money talks I guess. But I'm glad our sweet dear Auntie is free from his clutches now. He's a total scumbag/drunk. And the Mom and the detective are completely screwed. I can't say they both don't deserve it though. They had it coming with all their schemes and corruption. You play with fire, you eventually get burned. No hawaii vacation for you sir. Also, I'm glad his wife was able to get out of the crossfire before the chaos ensued. She's innocent and clueless of all this.

The lighter was overlooked bc Chief Shin manipulated So-hee’s case 20 years ago. He false reported that she was the one that used the lighter and turned her case into a suicide. That’s the whole point of Yeon-jin’s mom using that over him to have him handle her murder of auntie’s husband as manslaughter.

Seeing Dong-eun's Mom being taken away was very satisfying to watch. She had no remorse for hurting our girl by making her relive her trauma all over again and using her biggest weakness against her. What kind of Mother does that?? It really breaks my heart to see. It's a miracle Dong-eun is such a good person compared to her insane and selfish Mom. But man, I loved that line, "I'm the only one who can do this to you since we're blood." That was such an epic bar. The look on her mother's face was too good. It was way overdue... Her mother deserves to be punished for all the emotional abuse and maybe even physical abuse she put Moon through all her years as well as child neglect/abandonment. She was only a kid, she needed/deserved unconditional love, affection, care, nature and comfort especially when she was being severly abused and tortured by her evil clasmates/tormenters. However when your Mom is a snake, that doesn't remotely come close sadly.... Her Mom needs psychiatric help and of course jail time.

This seems very scary and strange when someone who is very friendly and gives off positive vibes suddenly turns into a completely different personality — and for others, that becomes a nightmare, so much so that just seeing them shakes a person from within. I live for the slowburn romance of our gentle and kind boy, Yeo-jeong and his ice queen, Dong-eun. I guess she does resemble Si-eun in many ways with her mannerisms and facial expressions haha And her and Yeo-jeong both deserve happiness after all the hardships they've faced in their life. Let them have some peace please so their hearts can gradually mend. When I see their little sweet romantic moments, it makes my heart flutter and makes me smile. That hug was so cute and wholesome. I love how happy and excited McKay was when they finally got more moments. It was funny but understandable. Their back and forth playful banter is adorable. It's a nice relief after all angst and suspense this show brings to the table. That being said, I still love it anyway. That's what makes it such a powerful watch!

Hi guys i know you dont want recommendations but after watching you guys want to watch some indian movies , so sorry for recommending for an Indian Horror Movie "SHAITAAN" 2024 as its not that much of horror but really interesting black magic typa show and better than Tumbad in my opinion. I feel so bad for Do-yeong.... He's caught in all this mess. Jae-jun using Ye-sol against him is so awful. Our little angel is merely a pawn for Jae-jun nothing more. There's no real love or sentimental feelings there. He's just being selfish and greedy. She's a possession to him and all he wants to do is take her away from Do-yeong just to hurt him and spite him. Yeon-jin doesn't deserve such a nice respectable guy like him. Ye-sol needs a better Mom. She's not anything close to a good mother figure. He and our little sweet girl need to leave that witch.

Yeo-jeong is so epic. It was great when he caught Yeon-jin searching in the mortuary like a dirty rat. The villainess is getting antsy because things are backfiring on her as it should lol Moon's knight is taking action. "Your jawline looks slim now, making you look beautiful." Then he follows that comment with: "You know I practice dermatology too, right? I can tell by looking at a scar what kind of pain the abuser tried to inflict." "It was the work of the devil." Sorry sweetie, but you're finished. Joke's on you. There's nothing our Headsman wouldn't do for his girl especially if you're the one person who made her life a living hell.... Oh, I forgot the husband actually died... I'm relieved for Hyeon-nam and Sun-ra. Now they can be free and safe once and for all. They no longer have to deal with the constant torment and abuse he inflicted on them for several years. But I can also understand her feeling torn because of emotions and being married to him for a long time. It would make sense to be in shock and confused as well. I'm happy for them though. They can have a fresh start now and build a new life together. It'll be a clean slate for them both. With all that being said, I'm also sort of like Cannon. It would been nice to see him being mistreated in prison and tortured instead of just dead. However, then Hyeon-nam and Sun-ra wouldn't be completely safe... So this really was the best outcome.

Kingdom (2019) is a Korean horror show I extremely recommend for a possible next watch. It has a different take on a zombie show by it happening during Korea’s Joseon period in the 17th century entangled with royal corruption. It has 2 seasons and a movie. Just thought I’d throw that out there because it’s my favourite kdrama hehe🔥☝️

Yeonjin’s mom annoyed me the most out of the show. Not only she is evil, but evil in a silly way with all shamans. I'd better see her being smart and evil but she is actually like that and people like her are the scariest. Even Yeonjin’s actions were logical because she is a psychopath who enjoys hurting others

Mrs. Kang was crying, she is relieved that her abusive husband died and she and daughter are safe, but he was her husband for more than 15 years I would assume. She probably loved him at some point, maybe he was more decent before and got abusive as he started drinking. A lot of women in abusive relationship stay because they love their husbands or they think they might change as the time goes on. So it is a mix of sadness and relief. End of such a big part of her life. Please don't hate Doyeong for saying he won't divorce Yeonjin. He didn't know the severity of bullying and murders when he said it. Plus Yesol is very important to him and he will lose her to Jaejun and Yeonjin. Unless Yeonjun is taken away to prison and Jaejun not asking for his daughter, he can't take Yesol. Loved Yeojeong and Yeonjin scene. Enemies in the show, lovers irl.

In this show things always come full circle: Notice how dongeun’s mother signed away dongeun’s right to properly drop outta school for money to be free of being a proper parent. But dongeun returned the favor by signing her mother’s freedom away to be free from her essentially for good to live as a proper daughter.

The minor detail showing dongeun looking at her withdrawal form while wearing headphones at the scene of the crime should tell you she been bullied way before sohee was murdered. When she was in the nurses office getting treated for her burns is when dongeun heard yeonjin’s ringtone to her phone. That’s why she looked shocked when she heard the ringtone after reacting to the sound of sohee hitting the ground.

Yeon-Jin always has some slimey little retort and has to always get the last word in but was just completely speechless after Dr. Joo caught her ass sneaking around like the rat she is. And the last scene at the shaman's was just icing on the cake. You would have to think that Dong-Eun was some sort of witch or something in order know that info and do the things she was able to do. Her shook and frightened face gives me joy.

I actually respect Doyeong for being willing to stand by his wife, at least in the beginning. He obviously didn't know just to what degree she's a narcissistic sociopath. He visibly struggles throughout the series to find one speck of humanity in her that he can hold on to, but she keeps choosing herself every. damn. time.

just a little clarity or insight into Korean mannerisms that I've picked up from consuming Korean content for years, idk if anyone's explained this before but you'll definitely hear it more as you watch more Korean stuff ; that little slurping/ teeth sucking sound that our doctor yeo-jeong does , think of that as an ellipsis (...). it's used in different ways that you'll kinda get the feel for, the more shows you watch, but it can be done when someone's thinking, or when they're about to say something sarcastic, sometimes done with a head tilt when they're unsure. the only equivilant i could think of in the english language is kinda like a tsk or a tongue click, but very interesting for sure.
