I think the detective said he’ll be busy and won’t be investigating or reopening the case bec he probably knows that Jae-jun is one of the bullies and in his POV nothing happened to him yet. Bec he’s the same person who handled the case when they were kids so he would’ve looked up the complaint Dong-eun did when they were in high school and knew that they’re all the same group of people. This show is so amazing!!!!

Because if he was to investigate her, with everything she did, get drugs, blackmail with the messages, tampering with Myeong-o's corpse, manipulating and tampering of evidence with the bottle and with the (badge I think) etc etc, she would have been in hot water legally.

'twinkling watermelon' is lighter story but sooo good the leads are baku and suho from weak hero :D 'it's ok not to be ok' is a very interesting one i think you will enjoy it. I was a bit scared when "Crash Landing on You" was mentioned because I really don't want to watch it in my opinion, it's quite boring. Please don't attack me, everyone! While "The Glory" isn’t one of my favorite dramas, I find it enjoyable and fun to watch with the geks. I cried the first time i saw moon tried to kill herself at the end. Realizing that you carry your trauma forever and revenge doesn't suddenly heal you and make you happy because the scar is already there. it simply sets you free and takes a weight off your shoulder. and then the scene with the granny. "let's die in spring" so moon just planned to die when flowers bloom, and once she's been set free. it's such a heart wrenching metaphor

My last comment with facts and details haha. Yeonjin got sentenced for 2 murders and she will never know that one of them she didn't commit, she is basically sitting there for a murder she didn't do. And she is getting bullied by her prison mates. Detective understood that murder of auntie Kang's husband was intentional and not accident, which makes it 1st degree murder, cause she planned it. Harsher punishment. Yeojeong was beaten in the beginning cause he was on destructive path after his father died and was drinking fighting. He saw her scars and remembered that body of Sohee also had same scars, so he understood why she approached him after their first meeting and tried to help. And then she disappeared cause she felt bad for using fellow victim with mental scars. Jaejun was told to approach construction site building number 5, where he died. I wonder who worked at the construction company and invited him there. Doyoung couldn't let rich influential Jaejun try to get Yesol, so all he did was push the guy on his construction site, same way Yeonjin pushed Sohee from the roof. Notice how 2 r*pists died, 2 bullies are in the prison, one for long time, the other lost her family's reputation and will probably continue destroying her life with drugs. And last bully has nothing and is mute and alone. And lastly, since the beginning my taste in shows and Carter's are kinda matching, so I think he will enjoy Worst of Evil, Signal, maybe My name. Haven't seen most of what they've mentioned in the video, but some of them are too cheesy for my taste.

I remember when Foine Husband asked Dongeun what she planned to do after all this and she said something like "being so happy I could die", and she was giving her things away (common in those planning suicide). Throughout the series she was writing "letters" to yeonjin like a diary. She always intended to bow out after she was done. In her final meeting with the detective when he said the investigation was finished you can see how she almost cries a bit, I think she was thinking about how she had to follow ahead with all the loose ends (herself) now that it was over.

It's not action packed like Weak Hero or Squid Game but the characters, intricate plots, the cast and the absolute cookage from Moon is amazing. Although, i do wish Ms Kang got to be with her daughter in the US or Jae-jun had to live with being blind rather than the easy way out, the rats got what they deserved in the end. I also haven't seen many K-dramas but i'm sure whatever you decide to watch next will be good :)

Jae-jun sealed his fate with his normal nasty and hateful attitude. Putting that kind of stuff in eyedrops though is insane. It would hurt, sting, and burn so flipping bad... ouchie. I can't even imagine the painful sensation it would cause. And as evil and mean as Hye-Jeong used to be, I still oddly feel bad for her when I see her try to speak... And the way she sounds. It makes me feel a certain way. I don't know. Eeek However I know, she put it all upon herself with her constant taunting Sa-ra and trying to get revenge on a drug addict and already unstable crazy person. It only adds more coal to the fire and will eventually backfire on you big time. It's like every villain in this show has to pay for their wrong doings when it's their turn. All their crimes/sins are quickly catching up with them.

I also immediately jumped for joy when Moon went in for the kiss. The slowburn of her and Yeo-jeong's romance paid off. As they say, all good things in due time. But poor guy was going through it for a whole 6 months, emotional anguish and mental torture... I would of been so angry and done at that point. There would be no reasoning or explanation worth it almost. But our sweet golden retreiver boy loves his woman with all his heart and is still willing to wait for her forever if it had to until she returns back into his arms once more with that gentle warm familiar embrace. It reminds me of that one Cyndi Lauper song, "Time After Time." It explains their feelings to each other and their relationship perfectly.

If Do-yeong didn't kill Jae-jun by pushing him into the concrete, he would have kept bothering Ye-sol and trying to take her continuously because he's possessive and selfish. She would never know her peace at all. And Do-yeong loves his daughter too much than to have her go through that kind of misery and stress all her over and over. His love is unwaivering and he deeply cares about and her happiness. I loved that plot twist at the end... It was so well done! Brilliant

It was funny seeing that beaded eye heart be full of fear and uncertainty.

I can’t recommend When Life Gives You Tangerines enough, but maybe not as your next one as there could be some tears (both happy and sad tears). It only came out earlier this year, but it’s already solidified itself as one of the highest rated k-dramas ever. I’m not sure if it’ll be your usual type of show since it’s slower paced and more slice of life, but that’s part of what makes it so special. It spans decades with cultural and historical aspects, and while there are moments that might be harder to get without familiarity with Korean culture, as a non-Korean viewer I still found it super moving. It has both emotional and wholesome moments and honestly is some of the best quality storytelling I’ve ever seen. If you want to go further with the pure joy, Twinkling Watermelon is a great one, but the cheesiness is a tad more amplified since there’s more comedy. Carter also mentioned Crash Landing on You which is a classic—these are all more romance focused if you guys want a change.

It's so well written and I love how everything became full circle at the end. It's always satisfying watching the good win over evil and for the bad people to get punished accordingly. Anyway for your next show, I highly recommend Crashing Landing On You. It has my vote! It's one of the best romance K-dramas out there in my honest opinion. Fingers crossed ya'll chose it. I wish there was a season 2, but I think they made a good choice at not having one. Thank you guys for reacting to this masterpiece of a show as well as Weak Hero. I’m really happy that you guys were open to the idea of watching K- dramas. For the next drama I really recommend Twinkling Watermelon, and for a really tearjerker drama I recommend When Life Gives You Tangerines and Move to Heaven I think you guys could enjoy it. It was so fun to finally finish this show with you guys! I’m glad you enjoyed the story as much as I did. As for the next one, there are so many possibilities. You mentioned Crash Landing on You. I don’t mean to upset fans who love it, but the show gets super unrealistic and draggy toward the end, so I’m not sure it’s the best choice. Yes, it’s popular and definitely has its charm, but I think there are stronger options out there. Here are a few recommendations I believe would be interesting, going from lighter to darker: — Extraordinary Attorney Woo Young Woo: slice of life mixed with law and romance. — When Life Gives You Tangerines: slice of life and romance, kind of a tearjerker that really pulls on your heartstrings. — Vincenzo: dark comedy with a juicy mafia protagonist; the humor is satirical and over-the-top, but if you buy in, it’s so much fun! — Flower of Evil: thriller, suspense, and romance (?) — not sure how to describe it lol. — My Name: revenge story with a female protagonist, leaning heavily into action. — Kingdom: zombies, but make it historical with a sprinkle of political intrigue.

im not caught up on the glory reactions but for the next kdrama i think twinkling watermelon is the only and most perfect option, it has two actors that we already know and love, and it has enough kdrama tropes mixed in with plot that it wouldn't put the guys off. it's a perfect intro into lighthearted kdramas!! it's also extremely well done, from beginning until end i really hope it's the one we get next..

It's crazy that this is maybe not even in my top 10 kdramas. None of the kdramas they've watched are not in my top 10. Squid Game would be maybe if only 1st season counts. And I guess objectively The Glory is in top 5. I'll be waiting for the reaction to one of my faves but it doesn't have to be that soon. I hope the next kdrama will be something I have seen already though. I also think Dong-eun's actions are not a good person's actions but she said it herself that she is not.
