Bloodhounds was entering their final stages of filming when Kim Sae-ron had a dui accident. She crashed into a guardrail & transformer causing a temporary power outage for nearby businesses. Because of the public backlash & damage to property they decided to edit out majority of her scenes. This necessitated a halt in production for a month. Her storyline became more of a supporting character instead of lead to "decrease viewer's comfort." So unfortunate because as Mr. Choi's successor she held a significant role in bringing down Myeong-gil's organization. She was supposed to lead the rest of the show with Gun-woo when Woo-jin got injured. She had her personal struggles & committed suicide this past February. She was only 24. Rest in peace angel🕊

They had to rewrite and reshoot episode 7 and 8 (which would explain the time jump from winter to spring/summer) due to Kim Saeron’s controversy from the time which is why the two male leads look a little different and bigger. They said they bulked up even more before having to return to reshoot.

There were a lot of complaints about what felt like a massive shift in plot due to the main actress (Kim Sae-Ron) getting severe backlash over a DUI and having to leave the show. So, if you feel like things are a bit off kilter it's bc they are! It kinda threw things off course esp bc she had such a massive part in the story. However, in all fairness to them i think they did the best they could considering everything, they didn't really have much to work with imo. I actually didn't mind how they finished it off at all lol! But yh, the actress did actually pass away sadly. What happened to her is nothing short of heartbreaking. She was let down by pretty much everyone around her but i won't dive into it here.

For Carter, about the whole drinking thing, drinking culture is huge in Korea, but what they’re doing, they’re using it as an intimidation tactic. If they meet with someone they don’t trust, they ideally use it to lower the defenses of the other person and make it so their on even playing ground or even at an advantage in the room.

Best training arc ever! Writers knew we needed this after last episode! Woo Do-hwan & Lee Sang-yi said their reactions to the tire scene were real. They considered it a feat to punch the lower tires w/o the top falling so they wanted to celebrate that lol Yes yes Cannon, Lee Sang-yi is leaner. He worked towards losing weight during the series & then regained some of it back for the last two eps. He went for a boxer's physique which is more lean & muscular instead of the bodybuilder look. This is his first action drama btw. Woo Do-hwan on the other hand gained around 22 pounds. He has a new hairstyle so he does look different. They used the month hiatus to workout.

59:43 BEST "SHIBAL" ever! hahaha The actor for Myeong-gil was actually offered the role of Yang-jung (sashimi goat) first. He thought the character was cool but he was drawn more to Myeong-gil's character. He proposed the idea & they accepted it. I can't see him as our sashimi goat so I'm glad it worked out the way it did. He has that villainous face & aura that fits Myeong-gil to a T!

I'm digging Gun-woo's slick back hair and Woo-jin's fresh cut. They do look more dignified but the older styles had their charm, too. But with the new looks, it transitioned them from boys to men 🧢💪 They are handsome no matter though and have hearts of gold. That's makes their characters lovable and endearing.

For those complaining about the time jump and everything, I just wanted to let you know, the script for the last two episodes of Bloodhounds was completely changed because of the actress who played Hyeon-ju and her DUI incident. After the controversy, the production team had to rewrite a lot of the story even though most of the series had already been filmed. So if the last two episodes felt a bit different in tone or hype, that’s probably why. Sadly, she also recently passed away.

This episode honestly is one of my favorites just bcs of the drinking scene and the part at Director Hong’s apartment, and the end where he stands up to Myeongil. It’s so good.

If u guys enjoy really romance fun romcom than watch business proposal but ( only if can handle some cringeness and over the top typa things🤣 it's common in kdrama ). Or Crash landing on you, I would say more mature kinda romance, there's some action comedy too which is more enjoyable for boys also this was majority foreigners first kdrama experience when it first aired too and they loved it. But overall I like both of them

btw the reason why Hjeon-ju is not in the series anymore is because she was caught DUI. According to google "the actress, Kim Sae-ron, being caught in a drunk driving incident in May 2022, which made her unable to finish filming the show and led to her character's disappearance from the plot. Tragically, the actress Kim Sae-ron herself was later found d**d at her home in Seoul on February 16, 2025, with police ruling her death a su*****". its' very sad.
