The "Econo Savings Package" bottle is just poison that the family used to kill themselves because they likely couldn't afford one of Vault Tec's vaults. The Fallout series has a lot of dark stuff like that lol. Edit: Forgot that this is literally explained in the episode.

Btw, Fallout 4 takes place in the Commonwealth (Massachusetts) and a small part of Maine if you have one of the DLC. Fallout 3 takes place in the Capital Wasteland (Washington, DC), but you also have another part of Maryland, Alaska, and one other interesting location with the DLC. This show takes place in the Mojave Wasteland (California and Nevada), so it's more akin to Fallout 1, 2, and New Vegas. In the Fallout verse, the locations have a huge impact on mutants, culture, faction presence, etc. On the East Coast, the Brotherhood of Steel is a much bigger force. That being said, I'm very glad the show takes place on the West Coast. Edit: Fallout 76 takes place in West Virginia or something. I haven't played it yet.

Great comparison Cannon! The Ghoul and Cad Bane are similar. Cad Bane was actually inspired by Angel Eyes from The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. You can see the Western genre inspiration! btw when will the Star Wars blue balls end still waiting for The Empire Strikes Back stopping before my all time fave is diabolical! 😭

At 25:25, Lucy keeping her gun raised while she is only asking for directions feels like a deliberate nod to the game. In the games, you are almost always walking around with your gun out, casually aimed at people even during completely normal conversations 😅

How this show beats Arcane season 2 on video game adaptation at GAME AWARDS ??, don't get me wrong this show seens good so far, but I don't think comes close to Arcane season 2.

It beat for best adaptation and imo the fallout show is better at adapting the feeling of the video game. And the reception for the second season of Arcane just wasnt as strong as the first so people probably voted for what actually met their expectations or went beyond, which fallot sorta did for a live action video game adaptation. Arcane is a great show but i do think this does it better at being an adaptation of the game. The way I saw someone put it was, Arcane probably didnt make many new LoL fans more so it made arcane fans where as the Fallout show made alot of people fans of the game if that makes sense.

The turret scene only makes sense to people who played the game, in the game those turrets are complete dog water at hitting anything, very lore accurate 💀

Yeah that machine gun scene at the beginning and the bear being killed easily with a gun made me stop watching this show. Only managed to resume it a whole month later. Good thing is that silly illogical scenes like these two almost don't happen after the first 2 episodes, so it does get better.

Yes, it’s intentional goofy. Mainly because the games also have tons of random goofy interactions and scenarios. It’s part of the world and one of the biggest reasons the fans of the games loved the show because it felt like the creators really knew what the games were like.

The reason the turret was extremely inaccurate was a nod to the game. In the game the turrets are horrible and will miss nearly every shot.

You guys should really play a fallout game. The show has a lot of references to it that can look weird without context (the turret missing, in the games its wildly inaccurate). Even like 5 hours of the game can get you the basics down.

How is it that difficult to understand? Soldiers are SUPPOSED to be fast, not wasting time when putting on clothes for example, ofc u don't realize it until u are a feet deep

The outros are different every time. I do recommend watching them, if not I highly recommend watching the last episode's outro. The goofiness is on purpose, definitely recommend playing some, the show is not based on the people or stories that are told in the games- just set in that world while being a hundred percent accurate (as far as I could tell). The turret missing him at the beginning is accurate to the game, you can absolutely outrun those turrets. Also a bullet to a non-vital area, or even a vital area, are non problematic if you have a stimpak.

I dont know why Canon has such a stick up his back when it comes to this show or why everybody is shocked that a mutant ghoul who lived for 2 centuries and can stay buried in the ground no problem for years can tank a few shots lol

I might have to mention this in a later reaction for them to see this. But This show is not based on any of the games so they're safe to play. The show takes place in a time period I don't think matters if I say but I won't anyway. The point is that there are no story spoilers in the games.
