just some thoughts after making this clip:

It's such a challenge to rigging tails, especially when they have to interact with other "stuff". Precise rig would require tons of rigging due to there are many bones in a tail. But if you go for a lower level of precision, it becomes really tough to keep the tail stable and have it properly interact with other objects. It's impressive those tentacle creators really pour their heart into making it all come together!
