This must be one of the most snug anchorages that we've visited. At low tide those rocks felt slightly close for comfort, but in this settled weather this was a great spot. Apparently this area can get a bit crowded in the height of summer, but we had the place to ourselves. Can any locals identify the island group?

Beautiful spot! Chart shows ~2 meters at chart datum and no minus tides for another three weeks...perfect!

We're heading to Maine to go cruising for the summer. I often think of anchoring with a line ashore but never do. Coming from the raucous Great Lakes, I can't help but think the weather is going to change in the middle of the night. Maybe I will chill out and try it. Great picture and fun....Enjoy!
