After several days of sailing we discovered some serious chafe-damage on the mast, and dropped the mainsail for the last part of the journey. More info in tomorrow's video!

Leo, it's so cool you used a Brooks Williams tune on this video. He's a family friend. I am wondering what the name of the large headsail mounted on the forestay from the bowsprit to the top of the topmast is. It isn't cut beyond the mast like a genoa but it's much larger than the jib and staysail... It's not a spinnaker (no pole) or a gennaker (mounted on the stay)... It reminds of me that huge billowing spinnaker-like sail in that old picture of Tally Ho, but that had a pole and was much bigger... Someone help me out...

Perhaps it's the 'No. 1 Jib'? IIRC, the sailbag for the sail on the middle forestay was stenciled 'No. 2 Jib'.
