Joe has been doing some incredible work wiring up the breakers and bus-bars behind the switch-panel. When the front-panel is installed, this area will be the main control and navigation centre on board the vessel. From here all the AC and DC circuits will be controlled and the voltages, alarms, and tank levels will be monitored. There will also be some MFD displays to display navigational data and controls for the bilge pumps and heater-system, as well as our VHF radio. Of course the front-panel will open easily to access the breakers behind it. The whole thing is contained in a fire- and water-resistant G10 hood. As always it's a been a challenge to fit everything in the space, but Joe has done an amazingly neat and tidy job!
