Given past times, I get the impression Randal is going to be waiting for a long time. The question is, just how long is he willing to wait before a repeat of Miles happens. If Taffy can't figure out when she's going to be "ready" by now, I don't think she's ever going to think she's "ready".

I totally agree with Mora there she needs to do something because otherwise this will turn into nothing. But we all know how much confidence Taffy has in this plane level of her life, she really has to get over it and trust him good enough to do the big thing >(^-^)< . Furthermore, what Mora did is not one of the most intimate things so far I know but still she has an good point there. Taffy get your thoughts together and make your decision, otherwise you will regret your decision or your waiting. Cannot wait to see the next sketch and hope that my prospects are good enough to say If I get what is going on in this arc. Chao, The Roaring Lion

sex isnt a priority or purpose for Randall. its unlikely a "miles" is likely to reoccur. if taffy can't figure out when she is ready by now, she'll figure out later. There's no limit on these things, except when you're too old, broken or dead.

the real issue is healing the part of her that keeps her from being ready. Not "feeling ready" is a simply a symptom pointing out a greater problem damaging her soul. Which is her past with her family, being raised by her mother. She needs healing concerning that. Not for "Sex" but because its a broken part of her that is going to keep taking its toll in all sorts of ways.

Sorry for the lateness of this, it’s been awhile since I reread this webcomic, and having binged watched TNG again a couple of months ago, I just now got this scene. Since nobody else mentioned it (at least on Patreon), I wanted to point out that that this is totally a Star Trek: The Next Generation reference. I believe it’s from the episode “The Price”, where Deanna kinda falls for another half Betazed guy, and is talking through her feelings with Beverly. Meanwhile there’s a whole subplot about the Barzan Wormhole that becomes another subplot in an episode of Voyager. Love the contrast here as Taffy is debating whether or not to loosen up and get more serious in her relationship, whereas Deanna was debating on reigning things in so that the relationship didn’t get out of control.
