Massive Cathryn Update!

Hey everyone!

Finally a Cathryn update am I right? This update is huge!

This chapter introduces a new milestone feature which are "voice messages" and therefore the game has her first voice actress ever! Cathryn our first girl gets the first voice actress, it couldn't be any better. The voice of Cathryn is @AmeAfterDark, I believe her voice really fits Cathryn so please give her a nice welcome to our Community.

So what's in the update?

  • Cathryns Friend (unlock her during gameplay)

  • 22 New Unique Images

  • 11 Endings (some of which have sub variants)

  • 8 Variations for Chapter 4 (through decisions from chapter 3)

  • Popup Notifications in Chat

  • Voice Messages

  • Patreon Code changed to -> alice679

  • minor fixes

  • - (I'm making a Cathryn Guide this month)

This update took a lot of work. Finding a voice actress wasn't easy and I have yet to learn a lot about art direction when it comes to voice acting. I try my best here and when doing new things sometimes it doesn't work right away. So feel free to leave feedback on the new features. We will work on improving them step by step.

Alice didn't unlock on mobile.

Hello! Catherines friend wasnt added to my contact list after notification on mobile and all media after the second voice clip is broken/not showing up. There is one broken voice clip and two broken pictures before the route breaks fully. The broken pictures show up as gray boxes in the gallery and as what looks like empty containers in the main chat.

We'll try to hotfix next couple days. I tested in on PC and Mobile and she unlocked for me. I don't know why she doesn't unlock for some people.

All is fine on my side. just had to restart the game and go back a little to unlock alice.

I had Alice show up, and I'm on mobile. Using a high end device tho, Samsung s24 ultra, if less powerful devices are having issues it could be an optimisation problem. I did, however, have a broken image in chat (caused black screen until I clicked anywhere, returning me to chat) and 2 broken (black screen) images in gallery.

I had this happen to me the first time, but then I reset her chat and played Cathryn from the start and it worked. Try that, then if that doesn't work, try a clean install instead of updating the app. That fixes many update errors.

Can you tell the the text lines before the broken images. That way I can find the images and fix the issue.

I'll have to try to find them again. I've replayed her chat about 29 times in the last hour, lol. Love the update, btw. It's your best yet IMO.

Alice didn't unlock on PC, Chapter 1 Ending 1/3, Chapter 2 ending 6/14, chapter 3 ending 2/10, variation 2/8 on chapter 4.

Thanks for the information. We'll look into it. For some people it worked on reinstalling but not sure if you want to loose your save file. You can wait until it's hotfixed. Sorry for the trouble.

Co-op imagination >> carrot (no sex) >> friends_encouragement_route. Looks like resetting all my saves let Alice show up, but her chat doesn't always reflect the most recent set of choices I've made with Catherine.

No trouble at all just reporting to help out where I can, I had tried a couple different variations and I was able to get Alice to pop up for Ch1-Ending 1/3, Ch2-Ending 4/14, Ch3-Ending 4/10, for Ch4-Variation 4/8 made Alice appear, but none of the other couple of paths I had tried. Very good game I enjoy every update that comes out <3 It seems like some paths will make her show up and some wont from my testing

For those that didn't have Alice added to contacts after getting notification that she was added. Go back a few messages and trigger the pop up again.

Great update, some grammar, but OH MY GOD SOOO GOOOD! Super Sayian leakage les go! For some people not getting Alice, you can restart the game client again since it worked for me. Close and open what not

I haven't done all the routes but on the Android version some images are missing (or don't load) and some of the audio doesn't start or is inaudible. Otherwise, it's a great job, especially in such a short space of time. All these new features are brilliant!

A bug at the moment. Try closing the chat and opening it. Or close the game and restart. Might help for now.

Looking forward to the guide, cause i don't think i managed to find everything, haha. Still, hot update, wasn't expecting a new girl, but Alice was a nice surprise.

I would agree if you could not see the scene in a picture but for every Route you can chose so you get to see the pics and the voice links at the end just not at the same time.

Thanks for the feedback! We are working on making it so you can click the notification to directly jump to the other chat. And when you want to replay you can always reset the chats. Remember that the fast forward button lets you skip through all the text you already played through. :)

I think the gallery app needs a way so you can view the images in sequence like with a standard photos app. Having to close a pic to open another one is a bit janky and unnatural

sorry i wasn clear. i mean like that after going through it the first time cathryn's chat no longer pauses when you would need to go over to do alice's part before going back and continuing her's

It should store the audios for later listening, in a gallery of sorts like the photos are.
