Do you see the illustrations for the stories as an incentive/important benefit of being a patron?

I'd say it helps formulate the idea of what is going to happen in the story. It helps the narrative by forming a base to either build from or look towards. That being said, maybe people don't want to be spoiled with the end result from an image before reading, or maybe people would like a beginning and end sequence sort of thing. I've seen that process woth a few other Patreon creators work well, so my basis for this is mostly from the other creators in the same industry.
