However, Finn places a spell on the compound, trapping wolves and vampires together.

Rebekah asks former Harvest girl Cassie for help after finding herself trapped in an insane asylum.

When Rebekah doesn't come to the safe house, Elijah becomes concerned, and Klaus confronts Kol about Rebekah's whereabouts.

At the end of the episode, it is revealed that the ghost who talked to Rebekah is Freya.

Yeah. I figured that out, but I was still confused. Both he and Ester looked dead. Now, I'm realizing they kind of look like they've been daggered. If you're answering questions though, can you tell me about the mortality of witches? I assume Kol and Finn are not immortal. But, would they live longer than your typical human? And, if so, is it because they are Originals, or because they can use magic?
